So HPD is now HRC to line up with the outside of North America branding, hinting at an Acura being headed to WEC in the future I guess?

Possibly

Have any members here gone to the 24?

I’ve been putting some serious consideration in attending this upcoming year, but I don’t know how spectating a 24hr race is handled. It doesn’t look like any infield parking packages are left, and I have no idea how getting in or out of the speedway works at late hours, or if you’re allowed to sleep/nap in your car in the outside lots if you find it necessary. Is it easy(ish) to stay up all 24+ hours for the full race if you’re into it, and is there plenty to do (and eat) around the circuit with general admission? Or will I be looking at leaving the speedway for food at some point during the race?

If there was infield parking/camping spots available it’d be much easier to plan, but as far as I can tell it’s completely sold out. I’d love to know any feedback from veteran attendees if there are any here!

Haven't been since '19 but planning to go this coming January.

All the times I've went, I did sleep in my car while parked in the Turn 4 lot during late night hours.

The manufacturer displays and food vendors are normally set up around the first horseshoe but they close up for the night around 10-11 at night during the 24.

The area around the track does have some restaurants which might be easier to walk than drive.

Given the crowd size likely be a new record again, some things might be different from this.

I can answer more questions if anything else comes to mind.

Sounds awesome. I don’t know the area, but it looks like there’s only exterior parking left, I assume it’s still fine to go in and out there and sleep/recharge phone throughout the event?

Do any of the vendors open back up on Sunday or is it a final call Saturday night type situation?

It's quite easy entering and exiting with the wristbands you wear as your ticket. I think the vendors do open back up around 9-10 in the morning.

Is it true that the Petit Le Mans will be the factory corvette racing team last race?

Sad to hear this I remember when this team started back in 1999 and there fight with the team oreca viper in 2000.

Its still amazing to me that there isn't one racing corvette to be found in gt7.

Question which racing corvette was your favorite?

It's the last race under the Corvette Racing banner, Pratt Miller will continue fielding a team with factory support.

Its pretty much the end of Corvette Racing as we've known under the traditional GTS/GT1/GTE factory setup (What a crazy 2 decades that was) where only THAT team develops and runs those cars. They'll still be running under the "Pratt & Miller Motorsport" name but they just are no longer the sole factory team as there will be another to run in Europe.
