No amount of testing makes you match fit for a race.
Very true but we're talking about Porsche here. Of course, they seem to have built a turkey called 992 GT3 R. I honestly don't buy the sandbagging argument, especially with Ferrari having the same problem and even the already established BMW M4 GT3s are also completely off the pace. I mean the BMWs won races last year...

Just checking the laptimes, the 3rd best GTP lap was from the #25 BMW, 1:36 dead - although the worst is the #24 with 1:37.157 - compared to 1:35.616 from Tom Blomqvist. At least the #25 is still running, I guess they try to do their 24h test they couldn't before the Rolex.

Looking at the times for the M4 GTD's I dont understand why they are so slow this year. They were given a extra 250 rpms at redline, weigh 15kg less, and have the same boost level as last years 24hr but their fastest lap is 1 sec slower.

Where are you getting the lap times from?

The NSX seems like a pretty decent car for GTD. The 93 in particular has been quick.

Also nice seeing the older version of the Corvette in 3rd.

If the #60 Acura is 2nd or 3rd for a late race restart in the final hour, they’re gonna be tough to beat. Those first two laps on the restart they are a rocket.

Got fed up with Peacock. Last year during the night hours they stayed commercial free which was great. Not this year. Constant ad breaks for the same 6 or 7 Peacock shows. I don't care how many time you show me it, I'm not watching Real Housewives of Miami or Below Deck. This has easily been the worst coverage of this race I've seen.
VPN fired up and now watching on Imsa.tv.

The #60 with an extended stop with mechanics servicing something in the rear end.

Just came back out. Looks like they went a lap down.
I don't think either Acura going a lap down is a big deal right now with the speed they have.

Thank goodness Radio LeMans is about to take the coverage over.
