I don't expect anything less than a horrible cautionfest today.
Agreed, I think I could catch the last five laps and still not know who will win until the last.

Also, thoughts on the split pit lane?

EDIT: Not even one corner.....

I like how they turned wrapped the race starters Genie platform with a nice fabric material and Chevy banner, yesterday it was just a Genie lift.

Road America is in 2 weeks.

I will admit that the split pit area is pretty darn neato.

Power's eating pretty rapidly into Palou's lead.

Pato is really not having a good couple of weeks. Nice job by Santino to see the dive bomb and avoid it.

I know O'Ward was desperate to stay ahead, but that was silly. This'll really help Grosjean and Ericsson.

The lack of Cup car racing made me tune into Indycar, and boyeeeeeeeee, this isn't exactly the finest racing there is.

Yeah, it's traditionally a lot more physical than F1, but this race is not exactly covering the championship with glory.

Belle Isle was a really pretty track but this track has a really cool 80s street circuit feel to it. I enjoyed it; especially in the final laps where they were throwing the cars sideways.

The physical racing is something that has come up the last couple of years. Last year made me tune off completely after too many FCY and that is a damn shame as Indy has been probably the best open wheel racing for many years. All this crashing makes it look like we're watching rookies, or a field full of Mazepins, Latifis and Grosjeans.

I can honestly say that this feels worse than cutting football out of my tv time.

A lot of us may know the old Detroit F1 track around downtown Detroit. That track was shaped more like a lion. This one, though, shaped more like the state of Oklahoma. The course is very cool regardless. I mostly saw the 2nd half of the 2nd day of action. You know it sucks when a non-American manufacturer wins on Detroit's home ground. Great action!

We got some cautions and it went a bit down in the later parts of the race and got a bit chaotic with robust moves but on the other hand longer green flag times as I expected and a good amount of well executed overtakes and even the last laps after the last caution were decent. Another good and exciting to watch Indycar race in '23. Absolutely enjoying the season so far.

Another great race. IndyCar still has yet to have a bad show this year.

But I wish we were at Bell Isle. I personally prefer that tracks layout.

Palou, Dixon and Power have all had pretty significant crashes this morning. The one with Dixon and Power was a very rare moment of boneheaded driving by Dixon.

As always it sucks watching this race from home, really wish I could win the lottery so I didn't have to pick and choose.
