Step 1: Lower it
Step 2: Ditch the terrible wheels

October release possibly? Also, why does it say that the Crown will also be on sale in October? 🤔

I was going to mention that it doesn't seem to have much of a spoiler for all that power but also realized the Yaris doesn't have a spoiler either.

8-speed DCT or auto? If it's a DCT I would consider it but I'd have to go with the stick out of principle, to show Toyota we mean it. And if I can elevate my career in the next year, buddy, I might be sending it lol.

Auto.

Eh, looks like a custom widebody to me. Highly doubt the street car comes that wide. Perhaps GR-Four branding but not the actual body.

I really hope they adjust the driving position/seat/steering wheel/pedal positions for this car because the last Corolla I drove was atrocious. Designed to fit somebody with two-foot legs and four-foot arms.

I've seen a close up shot of the GR-Four name pressed into the surface, like on the Celica spoiler. That is a superb reference.

So, when is the real GR Corolla going to be revealed?
For Aus it will be tomorrow (1st April) at 12:30pm AEST which makes it a car reveal on April Fools Day. :nervous:
For other time zones it'll be 31st March and therefore not April Fools Day, so I guess we can expect to have the car shown to us and then Toyota will say "Ha! April Fools, we aren't actually bringing this to Australia"

Gah, I hope they give it at least some sort of fun color. I feel a bit "too" hyped for this and honestly would consider selling my GS350 for it. Wrong time for me to have bought a car last year and should have kept my GTI and saved up for this.

Is there a real reason to have that center tip? I'd get an aftermarket exhaust and just do the two pipes on the side and find something to cover the hole.

I was going to do stuff to my Focus RS this year.......I might be cancelling those plans. We'll see tonight. Toyota is hitting some really good strides right now though.

Well I gotta admit, it's simultaneously badass and ugly as hell lol. I want one.

I trust in Toyota tuning - the new Civic Type R will undoubtedly be lighter but because it's FWD I expect the GR Corolla to outperform it. Dope.

FWD isn't what it used to be, cars like the Type R prove that. If this was FWD it wouldn't bother me at all. Its nice if you live in a snowy area though.

Which half the US and all of Canada is. There's a reason Subaru keeps selling WRXs despite them being miserable.
