Only withdrew b/c there's clearly signs the report on his sexual assault case would be leaked if he pushed any further ahead. Certainly didn't help that the class clown of Congress, MTG tried to claim that if Republicans didn't stand behind Gaetz, she might expose their dirty secrets which everyone said, "Ok, do it".
Matt Leblanc Whatever GIF
MTG knows something? Aside from about the gazpacho?

She sent out a tweet basically saying if they’re gonna “expose” Gaetz, then everyone should be exposed.

Dummy was literally admitting that other people are up to heinous stuff behind the scenes.

Good threat she made. She wouldn't know how to dig up dirt even if given detailed instructions.

Bondi's a big war on drugs conservative, which is to say that the amount of money spent to continue it won't be.

A tidbit

In 2013, Bondi persuaded Governor Rick Scott to postpone a scheduled executionbecause it conflicted with a fundraising event.[24] After questions were raised in the media, Bondi apologized for moving the execution date.[25][26]

Trump donation to Bondi PAC

In 2013, Bondi also received criticism following a campaign donation from Donald Trump.[27] Prior to the donation, Bondi had received at least 22 fraud complaints regarding Trump University. A spokesperson for Bondi announced that her office was considering joining a lawsuit initiated by Eric Schneiderman, the Attorney General of New York, regarding tax fraud potential charges against Trump.[28][29] Four days later, however, a political action committeeestablished by Bondi to support her re-election, And Justice for All, received a $25,000 donation from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, after which Bondi declined to join the lawsuit against Trump University. Both Bondi and Trump defended the propriety of the nonprofit foundation's political donation.[30][31]

..the best people..

Just a question as I may have missed someone mentioning, I mean, this thread travels so fast.

Has a Trump supporter or Trump voter in this thread ever given a good reason for supporting Trump/Trump views/Trump way of thinking?

Again, I may have missed a really good reason for the choice.

He's not Harris, is probably what they will go with.

No and we all blindly refuse to see how great he is. We're all liberals, by US understanding of that word, especially the non-Americans in this thread.

They cite wokism and inflation primarily.

I'd just like to make a random note that this image right here is like a dividing line between two Americas. The whole day was a ride obviously but there are currently likely millions of young Americans who could look at this image and have no idea what you're on about, ironically or literally.

And have no clue what either are.
I've posted IG stories about the Trump team's infidelity and "family values" issues, all of whom have multiple egregious strikes against them, and an acquaintance of mine merely responded with "TRUMP 2024 baby". Some of them don't say it directly but their only real reason is that he's an asshole and they like that.

to be fair 🎵 🎵 🎵

Most Republican guys i’ve known, had flagrant sidepieces, up until cell phones could record decent video. There was even a white linen restaurant, called the Columbus Inn, which was widely understood to be a place where nobody saw anyone, if you know what i mean.

So yeah..not a lot of shock that infidelity didn’t move the needle.

Also they seem to think reproductive choice is a licence to murder babies.
Some of them do, but this doesn't get cited nearly as often because it's a fairly unpopular opinion. Similarly, illegal immigration doesn't get cited as often because it's such a minefield of racism and policy.

It doesn't help matters to join them by referring to sex trafficking of a minor as "infidelity".
Todays’s sex trafficking was yesterday’s high priced escort.

And, join them?
Lol…buddy

I view infidelity as a separate offense than whether they used hookers or not. Because i’m not the law, they can be equally offensive in my mind.

This reminds me of "child pornography." I think a lot of new terminology is unnecessary and even silly, but it's good to differentiate child sexual abuse material from pornography, the latter having been consented to. Acts, documentation and distribution absent consent for all should be, and frequently is, a crime.

When millions are removed from the labor force, companies are passing on tariff fees to consumers, & inflation is rearing its ugly head once more, make sure you remind that acquaintance the moment he makes even a whisper of a complaint:

Trump 2024 baby.

It isn't. Wikipedia:

"Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation."

Sex trafficking is not the same thing as sex working. Consent is the difference.

Yes. Join them.

Referring to sex with a 17 year old as "infidelity" is joining the group that is not batting an eye at sex with a 17 year old. I don't know whether it was infidelity, but if it was infidelity, it was infidelity AND, in Florida, statutory rape. So to call it infidelity is to "not bat an eye" at statutory rape.

Sex work is not the same thing as trafficking. I don't know why you would think of sex work as being equally offensive to infidelity, but neither should be illegal in my view.

What you did, from my perspective, was conflate statutory rape with something that isn't a crime.
