24hr Endurance Race interrupted by incoming 1.07 update

Bummer... my almost finished 24 hr Nurburgring 24 hr race was interrupted by the incoming 1.07 update, after quite a bit of encouragement to my drivers at various stages. The whole race, points and experience was not logged. I have had to restart from scratch... which is a pity as I had timed things so my PS3 would be free for the weekend to begin some more serious A-Spec, Ferrari F1 Challenge Seasonal Event and Remote racing!

Anyone else get interrupted by the 1.07 update?

If this happened I will not be particularly pleased. This happened when 1.06 patch game out on the 18th, I was running the 9hr race and had to restart it when I got home.

I started my 24hr LeMans race last night about 10pm before I went to bed and it was running when I left for work this morning at 7am.

I really need to remember to take my PS3 off the network when I'm not home or running long races.....

This has been repeated countless times on GTP and the way to avoid it is...*Drum roll*... Logging out of PSN! (or pressing circle)

Happenned to me last night. I was playing 24 hour endurance race on bspec mode. The window pop out, then I just canceled it and then download it later.

x2, got home and turned on the Tv and the screen was there, cancelled out and finished the last 2 hours, no problem.

I must have accepted the update! Or my race had finished and was not saved and I allowed the update to be done. No matter... its annoying.. but I am now just 40 minutes off repeating my final 24 hr B-spec endurance race at level 40 :-)

Finished my B-Spec aims now after repeating the 24hr Nurburgring. Will now switch to more A-Spec and remote racing or online with friends.
