Hmmm, I was thinking of running rain but apparently some people couldn't keep their mouths shut about it :P

I will be updating the tables tonight and I'll post the weather then, I'm still deciding what would be most interesting.

Edit: Tables updated, corrected Sureboss' new name (finally, lol). Hope you enjoy the weather and I hope it reflects this weeks Malaysian GP's weather too, I'd like to see it rain, but not so much that the race is stopped.

Damn, I was really hoping for heavy rain. Light rain really doesn't feel that much different at Monza as the default online cars have a decent amount of downforce on them anyway. Can't you reconsider? I was pleased with my lap times in both conditions though.

I might, but I'd like to save one remaining wet race for the time being and I see making it light as a sort of trade-off, I most of you don't want to run loads of wet races, but I do want to throw one more in before we finish. This way, at least those who prefer it dry aren't too disadvantaged, but its still going to be wet.

I may switch them around and have the light rain race later and a heavy rain now...hmm.

Trust me, Monza is fun in heavy rain, seems to be the only race where people actually want it to rain. Gotta accept that it will be messy at turn 1, but I had a practise with Kakundoo in heavy rain and I was able to pull off a pretty satisfying overtaking manouvre into the Ascari Chicane, it's not a complete mess so long as we all keep our heads.

If I've done my math correctly(and thats a really big "if"), The team championship should look like this:

Lofus - 132

Williams - 121

Super Aguri - 121

And now an onboard of Monza, courtesy of Felipe Massa:

I think his is now a more appropriate video 👍

It would be nice without the commentary, but I guess that makes sense. Wonder if that race there is the reason everyone wants rain.

Considering Monza is supposed to be another one with online issues, I think rain would exacerbate the situation.

hey guys just writing to let everyone know that i won't be able to compete in the championship anymore due to the time of the races here in aus. Had a great time in the races i did compete in and was impressed with the overall organization and running of the races. Best of luck to shaggy and kak for the championship, hope it's a close one. Looking forward to competing in the weekly hotlap.

Well that might be partly the reason for some, but I like it because it's so high speed which always feels dangerous in the rain and that it's mostly straights so overtaking shouldn't be too much of an ordeal in the conditions, especially with the one block rule.

Sorry, I got that wrong. Monza is fine for the glitch, never happens and hasn't happened in my practices so far. Suzuka is the one where it can sometimes occur.

Sorry to hear that, thanks for competing! I'm sure Kak will miss having a teammate!

I agree though I don't think Monza has online issues, which is why it won't be rain at Suzuka - where we know there will be.

Also:
I've reconsidered and updated the weather, enjoy! :D

Just fixed the tables for two errors:
Firstly, I incorrectly scored Lofasz as a finisher when he didn't finish (thanks Sumpington for that)
Secondly, I incorrectly scored HEMIata as a 4th place on the teams table (somehow creating 2 4th place finishes, lol) so I've corrected that too.

That's a pity, good racing with ya anyway.

Maybe Alireza could fill the Jaguar slot now, though he hasn't posted since before the Turkish GP. He's very fast offline, about on a par with Gyles but I doubt he could be that fast online, as he obsesses with setting up his car just right. Anyway, hope he can join properly now.

I thought that but as he's yet to turn up I didn't say anything as someone could turn up and say they could race for certain.

Yeah Ardius it is a little annoying lol. I have never had a consistent partner in this Championship so far. I wish Shaggy had been my partner, then we would have dominated, maybe with lewyOs as well.
But oh well, I guess the spot is once again open haha.

EDIT: Also could my team name be changed to Brawn GP please?

At least you have a shot at the WDC :P The teams were really intended to add some interest for those not challenging for the championship or those who joined late in the championship, they've at least provided something meaningful in their results.

And as for team name changes, yeah, sure....definitely in this case 👍 Of course that is a brilliant name :D

Hell yeah! Maybe people might come into my team now that it is named after an amazing team lol.

Hey, don't be knocking the Stewart/Jaguar/Red Bull team they were awesome too, just a shame they were plagued by awful management by Ford in their Jaguar days, they had several good drivers and designers, its just they were never held very long.

Yeah I know, I was all for Jaguar, I had a coat, a hat, two models and supported Eddie Irvine lol. But Brawn GP is going to be more commonly known and I have supported Jenson Button from the off, it's great he's in a winning team :D

You gotta be kidding me.
Yes he has :P I think James Allen has a better April Fools joke personally:

I wonder if some of the people who watched the Aussie GP are still wondering if what happened was some kind of April Fool's joke. :D

BrawnGP: The next Super Aguri in terms of a non-manufacturer team that has a nicely sized fanbase?

I'd proudly say yes to that

Well I just discovered today that I'm meant to be working easter sunday 2:30-11 which means I'll almost certainly be missing the Chinese GP. I work for the NHS Blood and Transplant helpline and it's double-time on easter sunday, and I'm working the late shift, so I wouldn't be suprised if I barely have to take a single call all day, so it's basically money for nothing so I'm not gonna bother to try and get it changed just for the race. This should spice up the title battle a bit!
