Forza fans, the green flag is about to drop on Forza Motorsport 7! The game goes live worldwide on Oct. 3, with Ultimate Edition owners hitting the track on Sept. 29. As we near the finish line, the team has been working non-stop to deliver fans the biggest and best Forza game yet and, today, we’re very happy to announce that Forza Motorsport 7 has officially gone gold.

In celebration of this milestone, we’re sharing more great news today, including the first look at our Forza Motorsport 7 commercial and the first details on the Forza Motorsport 7 demo, arriving on Xbox One and PCs on Sept. 19.

Forza Motorsport 7 Commercial – ‘Musical Cars’

The new commercial for Forza Motorsport 7 pits competitors against each other in a reimagination of musical chairs, where chairs have been replaced with some of the world’s most coveted cars. Comedian and CarCast host Adam Corolla, professional driver Ken Block, and a group of passionate gamers bring the concept to life as they scramble toward an incredible lineup of cars including a Pagani Huarya, Porsche Cayman GT4, Plymouth Barracuda, Nissan GT-R and Block’s own custom-built Ford Mustang “Hoonicorn” (included in the Hoonigan Car Pack for free when you digitally preorder Forza Motorsport 7). From casual gamers to seasoned vets, the commercial invites racers of all stripes to experience the pure fun of the biggest Forza Motorsport game to date. What happens when the music stops? Watch the video to find out.

Forza Motorsport 7 Demo – Sept. 19

The official demo for Forza Motorsport 7 is coming for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The demo features three unique racing experiences in Forza Motorsport 7, showcasing the depth and breadth of the experiences available in the game. Drive the Forza Motorsport 7 cover car – the Porsche 911 GT2 RS – to the brand-new Dubai circuit and experience the thrill of navigating the Jebel Hafeet Pass, one of the most famous driving roads in the world. Or, pilot the massive Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck to victory at the high-speed Mugello circuit in Italy.

For drivers who want the ultimate test, the Nissan NISMO GT-R LM is available for a race at the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. Here, fans will be challenged to handle the ‘Ring’s complex corners and elevation changes, while also tackling the dynamic track conditions that will make racing in Forza Motorsport 7 so breathtaking. Racing through rainstorms laced with thunder and lightning make for a visual showcase and for a challenge like no other – where dynamic puddles grow and shrink with the intensity of the rain.

The Forza Motorsport 7 demo will feature assists that will allow players to dial in the difficulty the way they see fit; and for PC players there will performance options to adjust the experience to each player’s PC performance capabilities. For the full list of PC specs supported by Forza Motorsport 7, check out our recent story on ForzaMotorsport.net.

Download and play the Forza Motorsport 7 demo for free when it races onto Xbox One and PCs Sept. 19. See you on the track!

The Nissan is different to that seen in the E3 demo. The new one, going by the official blurb, is the Le Mans car not the SuperGT car which is called GT-R GT500. Right?

Not sure about that, the LeMans car is technically called the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO. Small difference but I'm going to guess that since the car in the official blurb is technically neither, that's the demo will be the GT500 car as per the E3 demo.

It makes sense. A good aul typo.

I'm interested in trying Dubai and getting reacquainted with Mugello. It will at least keep me entertained for the 2 days before PC2 comes out.

pCARS2 demo? None. Preview? Plenty. Simple visit to GTP pCARS2 forum or Google/YouTube search will provide plenty insight to the game. SMS have been more willing to share than T10, in my opinion.

I'm guessing he's specifically referring to this from the predictions article that was posted on the 5th.

"in fact, we’ve been spending time with the media preview build the last few weeks and have good news on that front. Expect our detailed preview thoughts tomorrow."

If that's the case, then I second that.

I'll download it to compare the physics to FM6. I appreciate the demo, I just feel horizon has surpassed FM.

Wait. A Forza 7 demo for all with Gold; did I read that correctly? No random lottery like GT Sport where most of the community is on the sidelines. So if I want to buy the game, I can actually try a demo, not a beta, but a demo and decide whether its good enough to purchase? OMG. This is what a customer friendly company looks like. PD should be taking notes... or at the very least monitoring social media and forums and listening to their customers.

If you're serious and you have a spare spot for another player count me in! 👍
I am very serious about my silly races. I am making a list of Community race events I want to put together in FM7. Some are serious events like Modern GT car races to celebrate the real world 24hour LeMan/Nurburgring/spa/daytona. Some less then serious races like one I am calling "Raptor Rampage" featuring any model Ford Raptor. And then there are the sillier ones like Racing Trucks at Nurburgring, Off Road buggies on GP circuits, and "NACSAR Vandura" Featuring NASCAR Engine swapped GMC Vans.

I'm still not liking the mixed bag of race cars all in one series. A Super GT500 car racing with GTE cars? I didn't like that in F6 and for the moment, doesn't seem to be a any different(should be One Make racing). 700 cars and not a proper series of certain cars. The GT-R video makes the game look a bit arcade like with the AI, but then, do we know what the game settings are or what build it is?

So about 1pm est...? Seems later than I would have thought

The DLCs and expansions have been dropping at 1:00pm EST since as far as I can remember, the demos and actual games are the same. T10 releases their stuff around 10 am PST usually.
