I know, that's what I said on my last line lol. This game has really pissed me off tonight, first it crashes, and then it glitches Hemi.

The most annoying thing is that if Ginty would have waited for me, or not made contact at all, then I would probably never come into contact with Hemi in the first place.

EDIT: I don't think it's fair that Ginty should have to suffer for my mistake, so this is going to be the final race order, it's terrible for my Championship hopes, but I should have been more careful :(

Actually, no. Everybody has to abide by the rules. Shaggy had to with King, losing two places in the process and I have had to with Hemi, losing 2-3 places in the process as well. So it's only fair that Ginty should do the same.
These are the rules, they are in place for a reason. If it was the other way around, Ginty would expect the same thing.

I guess this is settled then. I had hoped to have gained much more on Shaggy than 6 points. But I suppose it's better than nothing. I need to get back to winning ways next week. It will be my birthday after all :D and i'll be going for the hatrick!

Pole, Win and Fastest Lap. I managed to get 2/3 last season and score my first ever win, so i'm looking to go one better this time around and increase my lead.

Congratulations on your first win Kingmart1n, even if it's probably not in the way you had hoped.
 
I got my first pole on a average lap a 1,23,7xx. Then Ginty and kakundoo got me before T1. I though i would just sit in there and wait for there mistakes but i was wrong i went off and lost out to duck and HEMlata. Then we all took kakundoo just after T1 and me and duck made mistakes and he went back past. At the first pit stop i came out just behind duck he made a mistake and i went past but didn't have a good line into T2 and cut the corner (18 second penalty). I took both of them by the second stop and i came out and hit a 1,22,187( no kakundoo no slip stream). I cruised home in third i thought only to find out the stewards was investigating my team mate and kakundoo.
So i got pushed up to 1st not how i was hoping to win my first race.
 
i remember in melbourne my first race i pulled the same move put you had the line and i spun and nothing was said as i thought it was just a racing inserdent
 
Congrats King on your first win, although as we've all said it's quite an unusual way to win it, rather akin to Fisichella in Brazil '03, but it's a win nonetheless and i've printed it on my new fancy tables. DNS (Did Not Start) - Note, drivers who's races have been left blank instead of 'DNS', either had not entered the competition at the time of the race, had retired indefinitely from that race onwards or had only been involved in a temporary capacity i.e. as a stand-in driver. DNS denotes a driver failing to turn up for a race despite currently being involved in the championship.
DNF (Did Not Finish)

If anyone notices any mistakes or omissions i've made, please let me know and i'll correct the tables ASAP.

Yeah, its the same here. It could be a problem with what you used to upload them. Try ImageShack it seems to work for most.

Could someone give me a quick summary of the last few races, I still check this thread out a lot but its hard to see what happens in the races without reading every post.

Ok, that's weird. I had them working fine earlier, but now I can't see them either. I'll try image shack here and see what happens. Check my original post with them in it Jamie.

Since you left, basically me and Jamie have been neck and neck. He won in Nurburgring, with me only finishing 4th, then I won the next two races with him finishing 4th and 2nd respectively. Then unfortunately I had to miss the last GP and Jamie finished 3rd in it, so he is currently 6 points clear of me. Red Bull have been very strong and consistent. Williams have suffered due to a lack of practice for Hemi and Duck's inconsistent attendance and Lotus have picked up solid points but they fell quite far back at the start of the season so it looks hard for them to recover.

Hope this helps somewhat. Any chance of you making a return Tom? I'm currently team mate-less. I'm gonna try and recruit someone to fill in, in the mean time.

Sorry I've been missing out, but theres just no way I could be at home on a Sunday at that time with college and work the next morning at 9. :(
But there is a Bank Holiday coming up. :D So I might be able to make it to the race on the 25th, if you'll have me, of course if you find someone by then it'd be rude for me the throw them out of the car for the one race only.

You can only join if there is a space in one of the teams, and even then you will need to ask the first driver in that team whether or not you can.
For now, I think the only available space is in Jordan, since I think Brawn GP have finally got Rob into action, and he should be at the next race :D

So you will have to ask Shaggy Alonso.

When did that rule come about? A bit restrictive isn't it?
 
Well, since it's almost halfway through the season, I should only think that it's fair that the driver should get to choose whether or not he wants someone in his team, especially a top-running team like Jordan.

Of course, others may have different views of the situation, but there aren't really any spaces, and it could be deemed unfair on Ben if we just throw a new driver into his team without his say in the matter.
 
Perhaps, but then I always tried to avoid making this series too competitively-focused as it would naturally lead to much more intense arguments. The way I saw it, there were never the full 10 players anyway, so any driver who could hop in was gladly recieved. But I'm not running it anymore, so its your call.
 
Well, if anyone wants him, he's there lol and to be completely honest, there will probably be some time in the future where I will need someone to step in the Brawn car as my team mate's back-up's back-up lol.
 
Im with kakundoo on this one as you want the whole team to do well and pick up points. I picked ginty to be my partner and every one is saying what a team Red bull are at the moment. Just my view anyway.
 
Exactly, King actually knows Ginty lol, well i'm pretty sure he does anyway, and I know Rob, we went to high school together, we go to different Colleges now, but they're in the same area so I still meet up with him 3-4 times a week on breaks and I think when you know your team better, the team does better as a whole.

Obviously this doesn't completely apply to me, but then again the situation is different. Ginty and King are on about the same level, whereas I am still quite a bit better than Rob (even though he used to be better than me :P). But then again, Brawn are in the lead in both titles, so if that's not a strong team, then what is lmao.
 
Not for long kakundoo we are having that team title.lol. I don't actually know ginty just raced with him and got to know each other. He lives around 80-100 miles from me so not to far and he is sound bloke.

I see your point but with ginty as we get on we work well as a team we would never let each other slow one of us down we would let the faster one through. And as you can see there has been arguments but we all have taken the punishments kakundoo gives us.
 
sorry for sunday Kakundo it must av been the bubble because i did not fill nothing hope we can move on as there has been some really good racing up until that point .REDBULL for the title i think so we are on it at the moment
