none of my bobs are going to do very well in these b-spec races... a couple of them are around level 30, but they got there by remote racing.... which helps them level up but doesn't add to their "experience". my lvl 30 guy right now is driving like a level 2 around spa. ran him once with inters on the whole race and blocked him from pitting, but he still got passed on the last lap and only took 4th with zero rear tire left.

i've got him running sport softs in the rear and inters up front to see if that'll help him outlast the competition.

I tried my denso supra and :yuck: :( 750 000 Cr. and now bought a Honda nsx takata'06 with turbo no aerodinamics + 750 000 Cr. , which means I spend 1.4 Mill to be in 11th ?

I'm hating this

So running sports soft in the rear and inters up front has proven to work with inexperienced bobs. just make sure not to let him pit with everyone else at the end of lap 7 on spa.

Done and done

Just over taked 1 bob :(

just finished the a-spec races. I got myself 1,796,000 CR in total (with 200% login bonus). once i finish the b-spec races i will get myself another 10 million plus another 4 million from the time trials and drift trials. That brings the total to a whopping 15,796,000 Cr!

I've done Chamonix but have been too busy (housework + necessary = fail) but will jump on in a bit.

I was 75th at one stage but we all know that's not accurate

Great to see the Bspec is not a once off payout, I'll be cranking that big time to earn cr's for the pricey cars in OCD :)

What are the requirements for the A-Spec races? PP, tyres etc. :-)
Won't be home for another couple of hours and I'm curious.

HSR: 400PP tyres are free choice.

Trial Mountain: Non Racecars with 500PP or less, tyre selection free.

GVS: 650PP tyre selection free :)

Heathenpride
Spa race = GT500 cars tuned to 600PP with RH or less.

Sarthe = Cars with 700PP or less on RH & recommended driver level 35 :)

Oops, I just quoted Bspec, apologies. Just edited my reply with Aspec details.

It is NOT a One Shot payout, just ran spa twice and got paid both times, very easy win, level 40 bob, just start off with rain Rain:Intermediate Tires and you're golden.!!! you can cancel the pitstop and win by a HUGE margin.

EASY MONEY..!!!

27 Min for 4 Million..!

What car did you use?

I used the ARTA NSX '06 tuned to PP 600, no turbo and aero set at 60/51.

Sarthe is harder, trying different combos now, used R10 Race Car '06 tuned to PP 700 but only managed 6th so far, will try again with a different pit strategy.

Thanks for that. Looks good. :-)

Sarth:
Courage C60: 7th lap, in 1st position! Switched to Intermediate rain one lap later than the rest...

Note: Use High RPM Turbo to lessen wheelspin

edit: Back to 2nd on 8th lap. The Wheelspin on this car sucks! Feels like a Zonda

edit: In 1st on last lap. Skipped tire change, gonna hope for the best!
Going to keep BP in the blue
****ing spun out on the last hairpin! ****!
I swear the other cars are above 700pp

Back to Third again and I think that's it

Finished third with nothing left on the rear tires! lol

Im using the Honda Takata Dome NSX '03 in the Spa b spec race. It revs much higher than the other cars in the race (9,000 for me vs 7,000 for the others) and it has more straight line speed, even with downforce at full

This B-spec is a lot rougher with a lvl 30 duder. I still would like to cash in since I finished the rest of the new races already though. I only have a Takata Dome NSX and a Lexus to try and beat it with. Not sure how you're supposed to do it though since my bob doesn't even catch up to the first car. Tried intermediates and it helped somewhat, but far from enough.

My b-spec driver (L34) is a trooper. Pitted on lap 1 on Spa with the ARTA NSX, then hunted down the pack and then when everyone came in for a stop I accidentally gave him another set of inters when the rest went to racing hards. The track was almost dry at that point but he still passed the top 3 and won. I guess the race ended up pretty easy and 4 million earned in less than half an hour. Not bad. 👍

I did it there with a level 32 driver and got first before stop and and held it from then. Only problem is you can't just let it do it itself. You have to sit there hitting faster pace for half an hour 👎

Check out the competition... I think 4 of them ARE above 700... this one is kicking my A$$!

I moved a Bob all the way from zero to 30 tunning a McLaren GTR @ Indy. Didn't take all that long and I wasn't even watching most of the time, just watching tv and checking up on things in the advert breaks. Got to 27 in 1 day.

PS itching to play these but have to go to work! Plus, there's a prospect of a live poker tourney tonight.

The NSX crew of GT500 cars are very strong for the Spa race.

Has anybody else seen the AI botch the pit entry at Spa by the way?

I was watching my driver after I let him pit, when I noticed all the arrows of the AI cars on the map stuck at the pit entry, the Calsonic GT-R was leading the pack going into pit lane and it must've hit the wall on the left and/or hammered the throttle as it pulled in because it was dead across pit lane which was barely wide enough to accommodate it, and from then on it was like that scene where Austin Powers was stuck in a hallway trying to do a 3-point-turn.

Half a minute later the other cars must've rammed it enough to straighten it out and finally everyone pitted.

As far as the other race goes, the AI itself as a matter of fact doesn't meet the 700PP limit, so yeah. :grumpy:

Just golded the Autumn Ring Mini & Chamonix TT.

I did it with a 1970 Mini Marcos on Autumn Ring and a '95 Mitsubishi 3000GT MRJ for the Chamonix.

Style points.

It's actually quite easy to gold them both. I beat the Chamonix time by quite a bit despite the fact that car is far from a Rally racer. 3:47:748. It was actually my second car I ever bought since I owned the game. I just felt like it needed to get out more.

And well...Mini Marcos' are just cool.

Too bad everyone is just using the standards already. I'm not a good enough driver to get at the top of the board so I just figured I'd use something slick.

I golded Autumn Ring with a pink I-MiEV :P

I got all excited and ran the first b-spec race straight away... won it easily and got 4 million prize money.... "you cannot have more than 20 million credits" DOH! :dunce: :dopey: :ouch: what an egg.

How good is it to see that the Bspec is not a walk in the park!?

I'll be trying, likely with an NSX, later tonight :)

Just won Sarthe with the Bentley. First pit go in one lap after the top 5 pit in and choose intermediate tyres just like you said, also fill the tank with 11 litres. Second time you pit(i think it's when there's one lap left) go with them but instead of changing back to hard tyres like they do, choose intermediate again and don't fill the tank cuz then u will win time while the others fill the tank and you come out off the pit in first place but don't make BOB drive too fast cuz the chance is you drive off.

Good luck!

SPA was easy, causing a pile up right at the pit entrance, now Sarthe is the one thats killing me, any tips?
