 Krenkme, you just love that Ram, don't you?

Anyway…after a nice cruise, my entry is, with a few accidents, just over the 9:00.000 minute mark. :banghead:

:banghead::dunce: forgot about the 4WD thing, but a stock Ram without oil change is at 401pp. But that doesn't matter :dunce:

If you are looking for a truck to use though...the Midget II is completely fair game. Just make sure you watch out for the Dottinger Hohe.

Yes, I drive one in real life, so I think it's fun to beat the Crap out of it in the game.

And is painting it pink one of the best decisions you've ever made and something you intend to do in real life? <-- do it. Please.:lol:

Also…I have a Renault Avantime, anyone up for seeing one of those do a lap of the 'Ring in less than 9 minutes on comfort tyres?

No, it's painted that way because my daughter wanted it that way. Mine is silver and will not be painted any time soon. :dopey:

Couple of questions.

CSLACR, is this to be with tyre/fuel wear on or off? You haven't mentioned that.

Everyone, how dodgy is it considered to not change oil or rebuild the engine to allow for a bit less weight?

Not at all dodgy. RJ did it for the Roadsters, Dylan did it last time. It's been done twice without causing any conflict, so I reckon it's ok.

I spent near about 2 hours on the 'Ring last night in a Sauber trying to gold the stupid Real Circuit Tour seasonal. Dreading the Dream Car Championship seasonal now... :banghead: Perhaps something with half the PP will do me good. Sign me up on both sides. 👍

Definitely been a while since I've gone down to 400PP...gonna go look through the database to see what interesting cars there are to choose from. :D

EDIT: Electrics OK? Do they even make it around more than once? :embarrassed:

Personally I think its very shady at best since in effect your trying to circumvent the intended limitations of the event to enter a car that otherwise wouldn't qualify to participate. Also it can be a real pain for the testers since they will want to lay down consistent laps which can be a struggle to do with a car that is continuously losing power.

Give my "Spectre" tune a try for the Dream Car Seasonals. Will also be releasing another tune shortly for a car capable of winning both the Dream Car Championship race at Spa on RS tires and golding the 600PP Rome (reverse) TT on SH tires.:gtpflag:

Dreading the Dream Car Championship seasonal now...

The XJR-9 is not that threatening in the seasonal. I beat the whole thing with a CT230R, and ran into the XJR-9 3 times - including Eifel which is mainly straight line where the XJR-9 is hardest to beat.

And in regards to electrics, I did get a Leaf around the Ring fully...not that it'll make it to the 400PP limit of course without some undiscovered hybriding system.

I've run into the XJR-9 every time in every race I've run in the Dream Car Championship. The fact that it runs away and finishes 20+ seconds ahead of the next fastest AI car at Spa tells you that it isn't to be dismissed lightly.

...Well, not as threatening as it looks. Yes, compared to the other AI it is broken, but it isn't too hard to beat it if you have the right car. Not that that discounts how brilliant the XJR-9 really is...its speed is next to unparalleled if you're driving it, especially on a track with really fast corners.

Do it. Just do it. I'm keeping the CVT gearbox so it'll be a fair fight.

Give me a matte pink chip to paint it. Knowing you, Roj the premium snob, you've gone for the latest and heaviest one, right? To keep things even more fair, I'll use the heavy Premium one too. The slower performer (mine) will be hit by an RS6 going 200+ mph on Route X.

Sure. The 2009 Insight is faster than the 1999 Insight anyway, so even if I wasn't a premium snob I would've picked the '09. The '99 is a lot lighter but the tyres are also much skinnier so you end up with less grip and the handling suffers as a result. Same with the Prii actually, the '09 is the fastest one.

I'm looking forward to seeing if the Insight's battery will last an antire lap of the Nurburgring.

Race Commentator: "And Roj is waaaay out in front in his Insight! It's no contest at this point! Wait, what's this? Oh no! His battery has crapped out and he's stuffed it into the ditch! But wait! He's gotten out and is running down the track! What a finish folks!"

:D:D:D:D

Narrowing down my selection as I sit at work. Looks like a long night for me. :ouch:

How do you know these things?! You bothered to test it out?!

Imagine running out on the back straight when setting your best lap.

Its a hybrid, not a full electric car! :P When the battery runs out it'll just drop a bit of power and start using the engine to recharge itself. :sly:

You seem to forget that I've tuned every single Prius and both Insight's. :P

Oh yea, you are the only person weird enough to tune all of them.

Because it annoys all the people who want me to tune an R35. Especially when all my Prius tunes are called "GT-R something". Infact PD need to give us another Prius so I can call it the Black Edition or the N24. :P

Im just making the first car selection checking the time till the second intermediary. My best is 1.32 till now. This first part of the circuit is enough to make a quick test. Too much cars if you make the whole lap....:crazy:
