anyone want to join a 450pp room tonight? I'm off work and have the house to myself! (hopefully i can stay up past 9)

apologies, i ate, had a beer, and fell asleep. Being a workin stiff is really cutting into my gt5 time haha

twin-ring?? jeez...I gotta get back online :P

Basement is drywalled...tape and mud, and then paint and I'm in business!

Ditto, just haven't had time with all the projects I've been working on...plus Diablo III is consuming time.

Diablo III is consuming time.

I was excited about that, but I played the open beta and... it is just D2 with better graphics and more classes. I just feel like it is such a missed opportunity.

I'll just wait for Planetside 2 or Dust 514.

Or one of the new XCom games.

Yeah, I'm not as hooked as I used to be, but if I want to kill an hour i can login and find guys to play with in seconds. It can take 20 minutes of lobby surfing to find decent racers in GT5....if you find any at all. There is literally no way for griefers to ruin online coop game play.

Then that's when you make your own fun out of the game... this clip here is my 450PP Toyota GT-86 vs my friend's 420PP AE86 on the touge

If you guys are looking for close racing, I suggest the Parity League. The way it works is every week there is a specific track and time target. You use whatever car you want that gets you around the track in that specified time. It usually works best if people are able to put in a good amount of practice ahead of time, so that no one cuts off too much time in the actual race. On Monday nights, we all get together in our chosen cars and do a few races around the selected track. The formula eliminates the variable of some drivers being consistently faster than others. If tuning is your thing, this may not be the best league for you because tuning is prohibited. However, if you are looking for good old close racing, it is great fun. The races are usually really close (whole pack of 8+ cars within 4 seconds of each other on a 10 lap race), and other than a few incidents here and there very clean and mature racing.

Check it out!
