Considering the thread that prisoner monkeys posted in has now been deleted would his now be invalid even if it was the 8millionth post??

EDIT: My post count has gone down aswell (taken off the number that I posted in the deleted thread), thus did the overall post count go down aswell and considering there were 8-10 posts in the deleted thread did it bring the number bellow 8mill again and thus there could be two different posts that surpassed the 8 mill mark. (If you didn't see the thread then you won't know what any of this is about.)

That could be possible as there were at least 3 posts in there before we reached 8 million.

There was only about 8 or 9 posts in that thread. Immediately after the thread was deleted we were on 8,000,011, suggesting that between the 8 millionth post being created and the thread being deleted, there were more posts made than were lost in the thread deletion.

Congrats GTP on 8 million.

Here's the 5,000,000th post.

This was on 04/09/11
And yesterday - 04/08/13 bumped it up to 8 million.

So basically, 2 years to get 3 million more posts. Now, to get to 10 million would approximately hit GTP around this time next year, mid to late April ?

10 million. What a feat that would be 👍. Jordan, do you have any plans on the 10 million post plateau when it hits ?

That sounds about right, perhaps a bit quicker if GT6 hits between now and then. I've no idea what I would do if/when 10 million happens. I'd probably need to start spec'ing out some new servers.
