Today, I found out I share a birthday with Mac Miller. FML.
(Mac Miller is a hipster rapper with AWFUL rapping skills.)
(He also looks like Scumbag Steve gone wrong.)

So I was curious what I posted in this thread last and then realized I never answered a question from said post, and to put it all into context :P

1. I was born in the house I was raised in, rather than at a hospital.
2. I have OCD (real OCD, which isn't Rainman OCD)
3. I could not read till I was almost 10 years old.
4. I could navigate DOS when I was 4.

5. I have completed Super Metroid in 48 minutes.
How does that work out?

While I couldn't read, I did know my alphabet and could recognize strings of characters and their importance in the command line. It was just entirely memory, my dad would do something and I'd watch on screen and just emulate it later if I needed to do something, like getting through directories and such.

Which meant the moment I learned to read, I started handling the Windows install procedure when a computer would need a new install. Oh the joys of multiple floppies (later ATAPI setup from a floppy) and fdisk.

More facts now? Sure.

6. I couldn't tell a Honda from a Toyota (without reading a badge) till I was almost 17.
7. Since getting my new camera in July '11, I've taken about 15,000 pictures.
8. 10 years ago, the idea of me having a German car would have been madness.
9. I own at least 20 pairs of shoes.
10. You can always see a clock in my apartment, regardless of spot.

1. I currently own 5 (technically 6) snakes.

2. The 6th snake is a new ivory ball python I bought but have not received yet. It's currently the most I've spent on my snakes, $420 (by the way, that's cheap for an ivory and low in ball python sales in general. Their value goes up and over $30,000).

3. I'm the only person in my family who really cares about cars in my family. I'm the one doing all the research and finding our next car. I'm thinking GMC Acadia Denali.

4. I have dual citizenship as American and Canadian. My parents are Canadian and registered me as a Canadian citizen while we still lived there, but my mom worked as a nurse in Detroit so I was born in Detroit. Because of this I don't have to go to the draft :sly: We now live in Illinois.

5. I'm related to the famous NHL tough guy Bob Probert.

Welp, let's do another five.

6. Caffeine has no effect on me.

7. When I was younger, I used to be the kind of person to run around with shotgun and sword in Halo. I'm now the designated sniper in any of the co-op games I play with my friends.

9. After being in Germany, I never realized how much I missed rice and properly hot foods.

10. I often dream of being a starship captain.

You can eat bread or strawberry jelly (or both) instead, it helps to make the spice feeling go away faster
