I am extremely impulsive with anything regarding cars. I have had 8 cars in the last 5 years. (it even feels weird typing it)

I love flight simulator X

I met Old Dirty Bastard from Wu-tang clan once and he asked me if I had weed. (No B.S)

I am at my office everyday at 7am. Not because I have to but because I want to.

My wife is the coolest girl on the face of the earth.

You're still far from my brother. Just this year, he had 4 different cars, 3 different bikes (still has two, one for road, one for track, but he's selling both to buy something else), a 125 kart, and his wife also changed her car this year. And he's already looking forward to change his daily car.

The record for the shortest time with a car before selling it was 2 months and a half (Golf IV R32). He managed to fit new wheels and an exhaust in that period of time

It is quite the addiction frankly. I thank God that my wife just rolls her eyes when I start bringing up the subject. Shortest time I had with a car was my EVO X. 2 weeks. Rear ended by a delivery truck on a rainy night..

My favorite had to be the S2000 though. highly modified, screamed like a banshee.

Lately I have found myself searching quite often for a nice used E92 M3, so I guess the addiction continues? :)

Crash doesn't count :P My brother was just fed up with the R32 already and sold  Otherwise, there's a Saxo VTS he gave back 4 days later because there were hidden problems :D

Conversely, I'm going out of my way to avoid buying a new vehicle for as long as possible. I've grown quite accustomed to not having a car payment. :)
I think that when that day arrives, it would be the greatest feeling on earth. I don't quite understand why I have this obsession. I like to think that I just haven't found "The One".

The closest I have been (not to sound like a broken record) was with my AP2 S2K.

  5. This took me half an hour to write because I couldn't think of anything straight away

I love filtering - although it's illegal in Canada

What? Seriously? Part of the benefit of riding a motorcycle is not having to deal with the same traffic as a car. Take away the ability to filter and you're just another 6 foot on the line for the lights making waiting lines longer, not mention that filtering is probably one of the most fun things to upto 100mph*, then it gets scary and dangerous.

*Edit: through moving highway traffic of course, not through town.

So photography on a budget, huh? ;)
I might be missing a joke here (I honestly don't know) but that's before that DSLR I'm looking for, which I still don't have. And of course all the purchases are spread out instead of all at once. I can afford it when everything is spread out, just not all at once. Although that's when the price is (change in the $100-$150 budget) below $300.

On an ever-so-slightly related note, a DSLR has actually taken a backseat to getting a three wheeler since my last update in my camera thread.

Yeah... I'm feeling like I'm missing something though. :odd:

You are missing a joke. It may be a lot for the average person but for professional photographers that is rather cheap.

Missing something? You spent $1000 on photography gear. That's pennies to most photographers.

I think most regular Joes have at least $2-3k worth of gear if they like photography.

EDIT: Tree'd by No.40.

Yep good ol' Johnny1996 mixed a joke again. :dunce:

I'm only an amateur photographer, primarily videographer, and I intend to stay that way. My diecast collection is the boss of my spending money anyway.
