Does anyone know what this triangle pattern design is called? I love it.

I find it funny that this photo is from Forza Horizon 3 and people would've hardly noticed.

Benetton B201

One of the worst cars to grace a Formula One circuit, and it was in fact Benetton's last, but the B201 had a lovely shade of blue and eliminated the clunkiness of the 1996-2000 cars which had white and green unevenly slapped onto it.

The end season car has some changes which spoil it but this early season picture looks great.

What did it look like at the end of the season?

The more I looked into it, it turns out to be the tobacco livery vs non-tobacco livery.

I like the tobacco livery with the Mild Seven and blue front wing on it like the original picture and this one:

Much better without the green and white of the previous cars.

The non-tobacco livery car just isn't quite as nice.

While searching for livery ideas for Gran Turismo Sport's livery editor, I came across a race team in the Bristish GT series called Barwell Motorsport. And they have some of the best schemes I've ever seen on a GT car.

I don't follow IndyCar as much as I would like and this is actually the first time I
see this Andretti Autosport Relay-liveried Honda. What amazing colors, really like this one.

Definitely one of my favorite liveries on a racing car along with the Arrows A20 - A23 cars during
the late 90s and early 00s. The current McLaren MCL33 looks nice, too.
It's the orange colors that I find to be exquisite.

Not a "Best Livery Ever" but a unique entry and this is a livery thread:

1997 RAC Tourist Trophy Renault Laguna

The normal 1997 BTCC Laguna but with a Sega sponsor on the bonnet. This livery only raced once. It also reflected Menu and Plato's positions in the 1997 championship; the only time a yellow Laguna wore #1.

Compare with the regular Laguna that year:

I find it kind of ironic that the Laguna would be the cover star and (arguably) main rival of the first TOCA game... which wasn't released on the Sega Saturn, but on it's competitor instead.

Let's face it, the Saturn wouldn't have been able to handle SIXTEEN CARS and 8 different bodies.

1958 Scarab
This is the advanced sports car that famously defeated Phil Hill's Ferrari 412 MI at Riverside.

This is the right-hand drive Mk II version, racing successfully into the mid-sixties.

I Guess it's all subjective as to your age and preference . But my choices would be ...
Mk1 Lotus Cortina
MK2 Escort Rothmans
RS500 Texaco
And to break the ford vibe
Jordan F1 Peugeot snake

Absolute Racing have had nice looking liveries over the years. Think this one would have to be up there with their best.

General Livery Question

The Jordan 196 is famous for being a rather nice gold B&H creation but it actually raced in a bile-mustard yellow for the first few races.

Before:

After:

It was changed to gold specifically to make it look better on television. Are there any other such examples of a, uh... vain redesign to liveries?
