Excellent race tonight gentlemen. Didn't have that much practice with this as I'd liked to have, Warren and Gary were off and instead of chasing them I decided to settle into doing 2:03's for half the distance, when the timer hit 25 I hit the pits, new tyres and I was off again settling into a pace if 2:02's now and hoping I can get round behind Warren and Gary again, worked a treat and 4th was a good bit back when I crossed the line. Then I just held on till the finish.

Excellent race, very clean by both teams, pleasure to race with ronr again.

To be fair, without some technical issues and the non-pitting strategy of several RONR drivers the midfield would have been dominated by RONR drivers.

Very fair and clean driving Scrc0303. You showed good racecraft skills on lap one opening the driving line after a mistake and got right back to my slipstream. Textbook stuff 👍

And Wine_Of_Violence. Amazing consistency. With top lap times similar to mine you hung up there in top 5 (or so) for a long time! Impressive 👍 You really should have pitted though :odd:

It was great. Thanks all

I'll be giving this some practice later, well that and golf in gta5, so if anyone want to join me in either, feel free.

Great fun had lastnight.Had a fantastic fight with Cpt D and Weescotman for most of the 19 laps for 1st 2nd and 3rd place...cant remember how many times we changed places but there was a lot of side by side through many a fast turn and a lot of great race craft shown by all drivers in the race 👍....This car in stock form needs its own Championship :dopey: .

We have a track for the race in 11 days time.

Grand Valley Speedway

Pending a lap count, graphics will be updated and with any luck some Silverstone pictures as well.

Some pictures from Silverstone. No lap count for GVS yet, expect that soon. Until then, enjoy.

Hi Guys,
I've been playing GT6 for a few months, and now think it's time to break into the online shenanigans!

Your events look much fun, and I'd be keen to throw my novice-ish hat into the ring.
Do you have a space in your next race for one more?

Also from a newbie point of view, could anyone suggest some competitive cars at this pp level that are also farely forgiving to drive?

Many thanks!

Sure, you'd be welcome to join us. But bear in mind that most of the events we run are heavy damage. It isn't usually turned off unless the track is particularly long.

The event calendar is quite sparse. This is by design, to allow you to come and go as you please. It also allows me to arrange club V's club events in the time off.

So far as competitive cars, this is a bit of a contentious issue. We try to run an informal pairity by not all jumping into the fastest cars. That said my weapon of choice for this series is the Honda S2000 '06, I've not won a single race. I use this car for two reasons.
  1. To use as a baseline for all the lap counts. If you take my lap count and divide by 2700 (45 minutes), you'll get my approximate lap time.
  2. I like the way it drives and challenges me as a driver and tuner.

Ok thanks, I'll have a practice on Grand Valley over the next week or so and if I can put a steady pace together without crashing for a few laps then I'm Defo up for it.

I'll let you know ahead of next weekend if that's ok?

I like the fact you stick to one tyre set and pp level.
I've also just started doing my own tunes, this gives me a nice set band to tinker around with.

I am not sure if I can join tomorrow. Have a good race 👍
Thanks, enjoy your Z8CC racing.
Hi CTR, I also can't join this evening, but I am very interested in racing with you guys tomorrow if you still have space?

What is the protocol to join you guys?
We should have space, it's only usually 7-8 people in the room.

I'll open the room around 20:00 and send a psn message saying as much, if you are online. Then just come on in. When everyone is there or 20:45 comes around, we start the qualifying proceedings.
