Welcome PNuTButR. I hope you enjoy racing with us in 500pp club.

With the mandate of getting as many as possible on track I have put up a poll.
If you would be so kind as to use it (even if you've said already) saying which date you prefer. If both is the winning option I will defer to what comes 2nd in the poll.
This will also let me know who to expect on the day. Thanks 👍

I've been given a picture of vassie78lfc's offering. Which he has asked me to put up

It has been suggested that a practice session might be worthwhile, given that this car can be a handful. Having taken this into consideration I'm inclined to agree and would like to suggest Wednesday evening to see how much carnage can be caused :scared:
I might not be able to get on myself as "she who must be obeyed" might have some tv show to watch.
Everyone else is welcome to organize something amongst themselves in my lounge. It is set to the track, drop by anytime. 👍

OK Gary. I will get on it. Practice anyone, Wednesday? If Gary can host, awesome, if not meet you in his lobby.👍👍👍

With only 5% allowed with the power limiter, it's impossible to reach 500PP!

This event is a tuning prohibited event. Sorry for any confusion.
Normal service and rules will resume after this race. So get your thinking caps on as to what track you would like for September's traditional 500pp race.
Should you win 👍👍👍

With the results in on the poll for the Ferrari F40 race, it looks like a date change is i order. Here is a quick overview. If you have any questions, please ask. I want everything to be completely transparent :nervous:

Friday 30th August,
22 laps with the Stock Ferrari F40 on Sports Soft Tyres @ Grand Valley Speedway,
lounge opens ~20.00 BST,
Free practice until 20.30 BST,
If all are present qualifying will start. If not, attempts at contacting latecomers will be made until 20.45 BST. At which point qualifying will start with a 15 minute timer.
A reverse grid will be used to give the faster racers some traffic.(This may change if enough people want to use a traditional fastest first grid)

This race should last 40-45 minutes and should finish no later than 21.45 BST. even allowing for delays.

There will be an optional practice session this Wednesday (28th August) to work out possible problem areas of the track.

Good good. I'll try to be there on Wednesday (depending on the start time).

The guy who did
Is it too late to join this club, even if I don't make the next race?

No, it's not too late. I'll send a FR to you when I next log in.
Getting to every race isn't mandatory. I just like to have an idea of who to expect 👍

Ok, can I also join too? What time will it be at?

Sure, I'll send a FR today. There is a practice session this today starting at 20.00 BST (15.00EST / 12.00PST). Hope I got the times right. Post #69 has all the times also and the rules and regulations that will be used.

To all newcomers all I ask is you race as cleanly as you can. Remember, there are no points or prizes to be won. Perhaps I'll see you later 👍

Ok. I'll try to be there. Are we using bone stock F40s?
PSN:ninja0804

Pretty much. You can run it in and oil change, to boost the power. The only other thing you can do is change the wheels and paint it.

Gary if you can work out a date for the next race I can try to get cover :D. I know I'm missing out :(

Which of Friday & Saturday usually works best for you? Sundays are tied up by Goodwolf and Ade at the moment and I am trying not to clash with them.

Are you still looking at an 8pm start tonight for practice? I'm happy to start earlier if anyone else wants to. It's just so that I know that I can stay for as long as possible.
