Hey Everyone,

This is Obi-Tonobi from ReadyOrNotRacing. We are also running a couple of leagues using 500PP limit on cars.

Wondering if you all might be interested in setting up some club vs club races?

Chance for some friendly competition and meet new people.

Thought I had was to agree on a car and track combo. We could run some qualifying races in each club and then bring the best 8 drivers to the main event.

Each team in the same color car or something.

Let me know if you all are interested is putting something together?

Send me a message here or on the PSN at ReadyOrNotRacing or Obi-Tonobi.

I have Nov 16th scheduled for our race together. Let me know what you want to do for your pick. Once we get ours finalized I will let you know.

Should be fun.

There it is gents. Saturday 16th November, club Vs club is on.

The start will be a little later than usual, probably a 21.00 lounge open and 22.00 racing start, I will need to check this as we will be back to GMT come then.

All that remains is for me to ask if anyone has any track and car combinations to suggest for our portion of this event? Cars from the recommended garage please for ease of access thanks.
Here's a helpful list https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=206430
More details to follow as they get arranged.

We can move the time up if needed as it will be 3-4 pm here so an hour earlier will not make a difference on our end. Let me know

Would like to work out the details soon so I can promote on my end and get some drivers lined up and committed.

Looking forward to it.

Great idea! 👍
Looking forward to it as well. Hopefully it won't be to late at night for me, but it is on Saturday so it should be fine.

See you on the track

Just that 👍. I'll send out a PSN friend request to you later today.

How would everyone feel about meeting up say next Wednesday evening(or afternoon) 16th 20.00BST/15.00EDT/12.00PST to try out some ideas for our club Vs club race on November 16th if you have any.
Depending on interest I may have to exclude some from the actual event as there will be, hopefully, 8 guys from the other club. But you are all welcome to submit ideas and join a try out and practice session.

I hope you understand.

ReadyOrNotRacing vs. 500PP Club

ReadyOrNotRacing has picked their car / track combo.

Car - Camaro SS 2010 (from the recommended garage)
Tires - Sport Soft or less
Track - Grand Valley (22 Laps) 45min
NO Tuning
NO Boost

We are pumped up over here and looking forward to it. Should be fun.

I'm gonna be unavailable for the club v. club race. I was going to ask for the night off work but I have to take the previous weekend off for my cousin's wedding.

You will be missed, but real life takes priority.
If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know unless you can make the try out/practice session?

I've been thinking about combinations to try out this coming Wednesday for our club Vs club event and so far I've come up with a few ideas to try out;

Lotus Elise @ Circuito de Madrid
Lotus Elise @ Côte d'azure
Lancia Delta HF @ Rome/Rome reverse
TVR Tamora @ Tokyo R246
Jaguar XKR @ Tokyo R246
Aston Martin DB9 @ Special Stage Route 5
Audio R8 @ Spa Francorchamps
Lamboghini Gallardos @ Autodromo nazionale Monza

I would like to start on Sports Hard tyres (only upgrading if absolutely necessary) and heavy damage for all these tests and spend 15-20 minutes on each combo.

If anyone has any ideas to try out, please add them. Equally if you know some are too far fetched, let me know.

Brz vs Gt86 vs Scion at Suzuka?

These cars are awesome at base level :D

I'm sure they are but on this occasion we are trying to use only the recommended garage. For simplicity and no need to run in/oil change etc.
But it is an idea I like the sound of and if I can make it work I will run it as an event in the 500PP rotation, as a no tuning event.

Agreed, cote d'azure's a favourite of mine but full grid starts there can be a bit hectic, more so with full damage.

Looks like the R8 @ Spa is the front runner. Your point about Côte d'azure and heavy damage is a good one. The sort of feedback I wanted 👍. I'd still like to give it a go Wednesday to see if it could work.

Yes it could be bad racing at those tracks with people you didn't race with as well.

Great fun trying out the club vs club options tonight. Shame I had to go before the DB9 at Spa. Wasnt too keen on the Jag, and TVR at Tokyo, apart from the tyre football, :dopey::D:lol: I will try to get a few laps in the DB9 at some point, but my favorite from tonight was the Elise at Madrid. 👍
