Sorry I left before you arrived here last night Alexi, I only did 2 races in the end. First one was with just one Clio that was 51 sec behind by the start of lap 2, second was with one other Clio who punted me 3 times by Dunlop and so I left.

Will be racing here (hopefully with some company!) from 6pm GMT onwards.

All the best
Maz

How's racing atm? (Edid: stupid question actually, should have just said that I hope it's better than what your report of yesterday mate)
Hope you're still around in a bit (or rather long bit). Have to run now to see how Mini-Lites look on the Stanza :D
Seeya!

Still in, as well as Dranddad, Joylord and now Sinibomb also

EDIT: great racing guys, despite the less-than-charitable Elises, see you all at 55 👍

EDIT2: New overall race time 11'26.348 👍

All the best

Finally back, got dragged into a braai (barbeque for the non-africans )
Will be in for a few from 55 👍

Cheers to the participants here tonight for countless brillaint races, GTP_Joylord, GTP_alexi, GTP_DGiant2000, GTP_Ren831, GTP_Eriba, GTP_kemp333 and our guest Sinibomb also

Some of the races were epic, some catastrophic, all were great fun. We did our best despite the horrendous matching inconsistency and punting Elises (see blacklist thread).

Thanks again guys, here's to more 512BB-only grids tomorrow :)

All the best

Great racing from Timeattack, CarlPKY, Animera, Joylord, Eriba and JvM here today, didn't want to tear myself away for dinner  Great to see the big boys coming out for the 512 this weekend, there's a lot of competition out there for other entertainment on PS3 and PC, and the atrocious Elise-driving punters and PD's laughable connection situation isn't helping. Thanks for putting up with it guys, as the last race at xx55 showed, when it works it's bloody worth it

Back soon.

EDIT: in for 55 :gtpflag:

Finally, we got it right...

After hours, days and weeks of ridiculous and heartbraking connection dramas, error after error, wasted nights of trying to reach a race with a handful of other 512BBs, PD finally allowed us to remember what the good times were like.

Despite the initial scattering of 512s having their races wrecked by catastrophically bad Elise drivers, eventually our bumper grids of up to nine 512BBs actually caused the Elises to pull off the grid at the start in sheer terror...Suzuka was once again ours!!

How good were the races? You decide...

This has been by far one of the most memorable and incredible nights of racing since people started to trickle away dure to the matching problems. The races were so tight and intense there were inevitable crashes, mistakes and pile-ups but they were so funny I was literally laughing all the way through some races  Was a case of not being able to pull ourselves away from the racing, "just one more..." etc

Massive thanks to Brock, Jukka, Carl, Matt, Christophe, Sinibomb, Ian, Phil (Sandbagger!), Kemp, Joylord for an unforgettable night of racing this tremendous car.

Yes

Definitely was a great night of racing with you wonderful gents  And something that I have really missed in the past few months, as a lot of folks have drifted off onto something else and we've had some rather weak event updates of late...and lets not forget the horrendous server issues that will drive even the most patient folks away :yuck:

At first I was a bit worried, as the server continued to throw in some rather nasty drivers that would continually, somehow find a way to try and destroy our race. But as the GTP drivers continued to flow in and take over the grid, things got better and better :sly:

The first few races we had were epically intense scraps, with a lot of mistakes being made by all of us...but very fun and enjoyable up until the last moment nonetheless. We had some three wide action into turn 1 among many other ballsy moves and comical incidents throughout the race  Overall, we had some great door to door action with very little contact.

It seemed like Maz got the better of me tonight 👍 The entire night I kept leaving the door open and making too many mistakes at the wrong times. I'll admit I'm left a bit dissapointed, as my driving tonight was far from how consistent it should or could be. But I'll be back tomorrow for some more action before I have a final go at WRS...so I hope to see you guys out there again!

 to everyone involved tonight...I think Maz got em all for me 👍

I was looking for anyone at about this time, don't know how i missed you. I had one race with some randoms, unfortunately no competition. After this race no one was around so I left. I hope to catch a race with some of you soon before the races change at the end of the month.

LOL... That was my first GTP race session in month! And I thought: "it's like in the good old days. nothing changed." Apparently I picked just the right moment for my comeback!
Thank you guys for some great racing! And sorry for the moments i might caused some trouble.

And a special welcome to Kemp! Great to see another Swiss racer!

Thanks for the kind words Maz, and thanks to all being so nice to us on track. We got my mate's (Anaq) connection working today, and will be racing here more for sure the coming days. (btw, he's racing in the rig we built ;) ) Glad to see him on track finally now that he got his PS3 👍

Antti was top quality, very clean, very respectful and fast and clearly a proper racer. Thanks to you, Brock, Aresh, Alexi, Haitham, Hugo, blkvzgo and co for making this the best weekend's racing in a truly long time.

This car just does_not_get boring

I hope to come back for more later, but I think I'm done for tonight 👍 :gtpflag:
