That is pretty good actually... if you want to share your tune.. I can´t say that I would´nt like that.. :)
There were two things I found helped most of all, one was to stop (when using the tune already on the car) the car from driving into walls etc when turning (oversteer?) and the other was changing the power. I'm not sure I did the former correctly but it did help. The latter worked a treat. Also I thought 1st gear was too short so tried to change them a bit.
Anyway, don't laugh when you see it but here it is, definitely feel free to criticise and point out mistakes please, offering suggestions are most welcome. And remember too that it is not all mine, the dampers/roll bar I think I copied from another car different make.

edit.. 22-7-15, final changes bolded.

edit, just changed the front downforce to max, 150, and immediately improved to 1:26.850 for 45th.
Think I had it lower when I was trying to prevent the car oversteering.

edit, Still working for me. Down to 1:26.609 for pos# 38.

This TT is spectacular, made with the S4 very funny!

Too bad that drivers using the active steering is an advantage of at least half a second compared to those who does not use it.
It will be very difficult to make the top 10 without the active steering in this test.
Hopefully PD can intervene in future on this issue!

Congratulations the few drivers who fight even without the active steering strong!👍

I used the Ford Escort for this and I had difficulty although I used everything stock except for I think it was engine stage 3... I hope I'm not slow and this is actually difficult for this car

Wow, i got a flashback when that lancia stratos superlap appeared at christmass.
I used this tune from @GhostRider65 for DS3
Took me a few laps and some hitting the walls before i remembered how to take the corners.
I don't like that paint.

used it also today, improved myself about 3 seconds.
finally got the gold and the paint chip.👍
thanks for sharing dddsprayshop and thanks for creating GhostRider65

Thank you for tune. 2.5 sec improvement. 1.26.358 for 41th

They may be very good on dirt.. but on the road pavement they also behave quite nicely... quite honestly.. the way that GT6 tries to simulate the behaviour of any car on dirt track, is far beyond a fine achievment... I mean GT6 has no way of transmiting the sense of reality nor the behaviour of a car on that type of track... but on the tarmack the behaviour is much more real, this means that GT6 phisics only gets close to the real thing on an ordinary road.. but not on dirt, mud... or snow... at least this is my opinion... and my feeling...
Oh yeah the acceleration is enormouw (dirt or road) but you could be right, they seem to put way more effort into road behaviour than dirt. (considering the fact there are about 100 times more races on normal roads than on dirt/snow). Though I dont drive many cars on dirt, just the 'normal' Delta, the S4, some Impreza's, Subaru's and the Celica and the differences between them are not that big as the differences between car handling/behalviour on normal roads.

Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car '85
Used stock suspension and clocked a 1:27:804, only altered differential and modded gearbox. A tune for this motor is needed :(, can see another 1.2ish secondz coming off with a decent suspension setup.

Guvna

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have juiced the engine as much as it goes and struggle more with the suspension.. been fiddling around with that for some time, but just can't find "it".. would love some pointers on the Diff as well..
Currently at 735th

RS200 was best for me. I dislikes this track, the slow corners and that downhill high speed braking section. Ugh, gold and out.

I had a go at this in the Delta S4 last night and after settling it down with a bit of tuning I managed to do a 1:26.8 :D and I know there is up to another second to be knocked off that because I can and have gotten the drift around the hairpin better on previous laps and I was not very tidy in the white-knuckle ride down the hill either. :scared:

Yes nowcontrol, I see you were ahead of me for most of it except the last bit, and Stewy has snuck up and was sitting on exactly the same as me 1:26.609.
Anyway just had another crack at it and took off 1/2 a sec, now on 1:26.162 for pos#43.

now iv'e got to have another go.

Dude, I know that. There are only TWO and all these different posters. I'm sure there are more than TWO tunes being used here.

Here's P10 in the US

Delta S4

No oil or body rigidity

80/85
7.00/7.00
6/1
2/6
4/4
0/0
0/0
Brks 6/2

High RPM turbo
95.7%

Transmission max speed full left
Final is 2.900

Diffs
5/5/5
5/5/25
40:60

Full aero
150/350

Simple. Can get sideways on corner entry but power out. Needs more work but I'm not complaining too much.

Tried your tune, coryclifford, but it didn't work for me. I had tried the high RPM turbo previously but feel the mid turbo (which I am now using rather than low) coupled with engine tuning gives the best power result.
As you would know from here, I am no tuner and am always one of the first to call for a tune from faster players, however I feel that your LSD settings are too low for this car, at least for my driving style.
Cheers mate and good luck.

Funny Dalone, I tried yours and couldn't keep it straight so I tweaked a car for myself. :D:tup:

I checked your motor tune but the big turbo gave the better power to weight number. I always start with really low LSD numbers and slowly bump them up until the tires peel just about the same but even at 5/5 all around it was just barely still peeling the inside, so I went with it. Cheers back at ya.

Yeah it's funny how that works. Sometimes when faster blokes post their tunes I find them practically undrivable.
One thing about this race is you have to throw caution to the wind and just go for it.

Hi guys, this TT is really very funny. It's a shame that too many people using active steering, more fast ok, no problem but you restrict by far your pleasure. i think the active steering should be ok just for DS3.
Anyway, initially, i want to say only for all drivers that the 205 evolution '86 is very very funny, perhaps more difficult but very efficient car(top 10 yesterday! and 11 this morning:grumpy:. Just you try ;)

EDIT: PLEASE!!!!

Hahaha....OK here is my tune, it's a bit basic, I just needed to tame tail end enough for my driving style without killing too much of the essential rotation and willingness to slide a bit....try it out.....

Nowcontrol is on my friend list, EmaNymton, and usually beats me however this time trial I am still ahead of him and am still leaving time on the track with my 1:26.162. It finishes tomorrow I think so if you haven't tried the tune I posted it might be worth giving it a try. Of course I'm always trying new things so the one posted is not exactly the same as I am using now. The main difference is I am using 3rd stage turbo as well as engine tuning now and lowering the power to compensate. It is the best combination I have tried. Oh, also have a small amount of weight, less than 20 kg I think and 50/50 diff split. Happy to post all changes if requested. Cheers, good luck.

Ha ha, I wrote this yesterday but forgot to post it and now (22 July) I see 'nowcontrol' has posted his. So I will add to my tune (up the page) the changes I am currently using, in bold letters rather than posting a new version.
