Aha oke. But its a shame that PD do nothing about that cutting. I must do it because it cost 2 seconds... If nobody do it i also not do it. Better they cancel all the times and set a new one with penaltys to cut that turn.

if people don't cut or wallride in seasonal TTs, it's because of two factors:
-it's not faster
-it'll be a red lap.
I don't say EVERYBODY is doing it, but the problem exists since the very first Gran Turismo online TTs.
I remember back in GT5 the cut "needed" to get a fast lap was already there.
now it's wallride/bobsleigh mode? why not after all, where is the limit if an enormous cut is already "accepted" by some people's minds?
it's time for PoDi to look at their game again and add some penalties since fair play is really random on a public online event to say the least ( online lobby or seasonal TT), it's not criticism as I won't judge anyone, it's a fact.

third factor - it's more fun. I'll just be trying for gold in as many different cars as I can, cleanly. I've no problem with anyone using whatever means they like going for a top time though. It's not cheating. I just can't see the pleasure in it.

In my size because people do not know how to play and want to win easy. It is a matter of common sense to me.

I'm still playing a very old racing game from the 90's: Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix 4 – PC.
The AI intelligence is still way ahead of GT6!
You put one wheel on the grass or sand and your gone!
You hit another car or something else, you go to the pit for repair!
I was hoping that Gran Turismo, after all those years, would get to that level, alas...
I still love to play GT6, probably because the varieties of cars, tracks and to be able to meet more online racing friends. I dream that GT will become a more realistic game, a real driving simulator in the future, but that's my personal wish!

Haha I had a look at the top ten times it was like I was playing PGR3 on the xbox again with all the cuts and wall riding. Didn't think you could cheat on time trials on GT?

This shortcut in Chamonix West is virtually the first TT was raced at the time of GT5 and PD has never done anything unlike other races run in other circuits. TT was the No. 35 of GT5 and disputed a rehearsal in Chamonix and Laguna Seca, in both cases was cut, Laguna Seca in the pit exit lane, Chamonix just like today. PD erased the evidence of Laguna and arranged bug while Chamonix, nothing was done and is still so ...
I tried a few laps during the night shooting car with which ran two years ago but today the times seem higher.

Saw people talking about the corner cutting area. I only realised it possible this morning as I replayed the top two racers vid. So I tried it. Nothing wrong with having it IMO. Adds a bit of interest to the challenge. You don't have to use it if you don't want to but it's there if you want. No biggie. It's not like it's just available to some and not others.
Overall the TT in the snow is quite fun though it still has its challenges.

2.03.1xx, I was 11th at the time, don't know now.
torque at 50-50 is too much I think, I tried to adjust the torque on @Donstephan's tune and I got a 2.03.4xx, the handeling was already better, so my tune is definitely not a panacea but it still has a bit less understeer I think.
it's the first time I try a rally TT with setups tho, so I don't know if my tune will worth a shot
