Nope.;)
400/700 posted in the team. Some might have lowered slightly, but not lower than 650, trust me.

And as we got setps from both @DrAug and @hotsaucer (Thank you!:)), you can be sure that 1'st, 4'th, 6'th, 7'th, 12'th, 15'th, 17'th, 18'th all have combined downforce of over 1000.:)
Goes to show how much exit speed on to Conrad means. 8 km/h at the end of it difference.
I'm done with the Z4 gotta get my FITT cars done by Thursday.

Gave my hand at this one last time and improved a couple tenths after maybe 10 laps. I tried a couple little tuning tricks which most likely helped:

70/80
min/min
1/1
2/2
7/7
0/0
0/0
Brakes 7/6
LSD: 5/10/5
dforce max/700 - ballast 2kg @50%

used @SW__10 base for this tune. good luck getting those 1:53's!
Nice tune - been struggling to get near my fastest laptime for a couple of weeks now, tried your tune and immediately knocked half a second off! Finally got into the 1.55s. Thanks for sharing.

Update - now shaved another 0.3 seconds off, with a slight tweak to the LSD (7/10/5)

Raaaaaarrrrrrr!

I got my 1:59:931 with the Audi R8 on Sports Softs.

Thanks to @Jeje6410 and his LSD and Gearbox of the Gods. I modified the brake bias because the fronts were locking and I raised the ride height from 71/70 to deal with the bumps.

Time to take a short break then get on racing tires to see where I stack up with the rest of you.

beau231 you dont have to rub it in you 🤬. :D:D some of us less talented or elderly take a bit longer, but you guys set the the times that inspire us mere mortals to strive to be better. Cheers mate
I wasn't trying to rub it in, that's not my style, my opinion my driving is kinda average I see much better than me but im better in the real world I can race motorbikes/cars but i think im better with cars lol

No, you guys are way up there. This mere mortal is still trying to get to my best of 1.56.989, must have a thousand 57's and 57.1's. Keep 🤬 up on Kossie's favourite corners if I ease up a smidgeon my ghost is all over me. But now we are about to begin episode 3756 of "That Bloody Mountain". :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Thanks a lot @rheinaoi . I appreciate a lot yours comments and your satisfaction. It's a real pleasure to read that. Thanks again @rheinaoi

Improved to a 1:57.474 with @StanNz's help, thanks for the tune. I'm going to try to use the Audi with @Evo19uk and @beau231 tune.

Awesome tune, :D:tup:. With a little more work I'll be able to break into the 1:56's or better with this setup. I was able to get a 1:57.989 with it and some points I was almost a second up by the bottom of the mountain. Thank you

Hang with your BMW ghost over the mountain, I stayed in 3rd for the dipper and just rolled it through (2nd was too scary for me) good exit from Elbow, steady the car in Chase and don't look behind you for your ghost approaching the braking zone for Murray's lol.
Good luck 👍

I still feel bad that I've lost about 0,4 sec on this lap becauce of two mistakes -_-

Not sure if people would want to watch my lap but here is a 1:53.2 with the tune I shared. Notice that it is not a very aggressive lap, but just taken cleanly all around to achieve the time. I apologize for the mediocre vid quality.

Very nice. On some sectors I'm even fast as you but in the downhill i %^&* it up. Nice driving:tup:
I'm fast in the first and last part of the track. You aliens destroy me in the middle

Improved some more with the Audi, I managed a 1:56.742 with only driving aids driving line and abs 1. I know I left about .300-.600 on the track.

In the Audi I was ahead of my bmw ghost from the first straight to the finish line, thanks for tips 👍 for the most part I have my ghost off so it isn't a distraction. But I do glance up at the mini map to see if I'm behind or ahead.

Ok, decided to have another go at the Audi Ultra after chasing my 1.56.989 for a week in the Z4s. After one fairly innocuous lap I was surprised to look up and see 1.56.815, you ripper!! So I grabbed a Z4 thinking ok I'll do it this time. Trouble was I did the same as Kossie only 3 seconds slower so back in the Audi with the Evo-Beau tune and second lap I got a 1.56.741, that's twice in one day, I'm determined to go quicker but I think the Gods are against me. Tomoro.

Hotsauser , Any chance that you would post the complete tune , as I just get confused trying to figure out what you excactly used :)

Yeah,
still going for this and still improving, 1:55,485 now # 169.
Also beat one of my friends by 0,001 seconds! :D:D:D

Nice driving. A couple tips: Try to brake later. I see on youre braking line that you brake sometimes to fast. Maybe a good tip. With later braking and more sharper turns you get the 1:54 for sure.

Good clean driving but you can take more risks 👍

BMW Z4 GT3 '11 by Shmogt

I decided to give this one a shot. Made a fairly aggressive, but quick Z4 GT3 tune if anyone would like to try. I did a 2:02 (almost 2:01) with a few practise laps, using a controller, and I am not the best driver. I am hoping someone can use it to get a much quicker time. Enjoy!

On Monday, I put Race Tires on the Audi and decided to sneak in a few laps before work.

I remember from GT5 that putting Race Tires on a car was like slathering the physics engine in a coat of honey. All of the extra grip hid fundamental problems in the car/tune. I expected this car, which I had come to grips with over the past couple of weeks, to be a stable, no B.S. time attack beast. What I got for all that extra grip was an oversteering moron.

I wanted to toss my steering wheel out the window.

I quickly threw every setting I could think of at the machine to make it understeer. Nope. The rear just broke free as if it was on a lower grade tire.

So I put Sports Softs on the front end, and almost as if flipping a switch, my tuning had an effect. The car understeered like a pig (yes, pigs DO understeer).

Yeah, I know, I'm about 2 years late.

I'm hoping to catch up to @StanNz by the end of this.

Welcome to GT6 tuning
What is prolly happening is the rear is overloading very fast and going past grip thresh hold. Might try going a totally soft min/min 1's on dampers and build from scratch.
Or take an approach that @OdeFinn states works load your SS tune and drop the ride hight 1-3mm on each end of the car.

I didn't know why my name appeared in your post, then I saw your PSN and realized:banghead:
If you carry on driving like you do in QM'S, you will catch me up pretty soon:)

@StanNz. Sometimes I forget how vague I can be... I've been staring at your time on my records list. It was my benchmark .

1:56:xxx. The car is still a moron, but so am I.

Thanks for the advice @Otaliema. I working on it. I got flashbacks of driving the GT300 ASL Garaiya. The Audi has a similar character: Lift off mid corner = dead. I am now driving with a tonne more throttle through the corners to keep the car balanced.

It's still disturbing that the such a vital part of the car's personality never showed through as much on Sports Tires.

What's causing that? Is it because of how hard the cornering forces are on Racing Tires and the loss of grip over the limit is so sudden?

"Mistake" in base Sport compound tune.

Suggestions:
A) dropping ride height 1mm per grade when installing better compounds
B) along with A stiffening ARB on both ends, same increment on both ends
C) along with A stiffening damper extension on both ends, same increment on both ends
D) variation of above methods (B&C) combined, mostly ending on this solution if any of setting is already maxed out and so on cannot be used similar way on both ends, so don't apply things only on other end, of course you can do that and controversy doing other thing only on other end, this ends up tuning everything again.
Dv2) add body rigidity improvement instead of stiffening suspension parts (ARB or damper extension), this might put you softening those a bit if tune is on edge of reaction this implementation.
