I used the Pescarolo but with a slight change to the tune listed above. I'm on a DS3, so TCS was on 4 and I changed the brakes from the recommended 8/8 to 2/1. Gold on second lap. The 8/8 brakes would pull dead left on the end of the front straight making it unrecoverable.

I don't like the torque in this C63, stuggling to keep the torque controlled.
Going to try out the Audi R8

This decent tune is specifically for both LTW and this seasonal for Pescarolo Courage C60 Peugeot (after 4 laps, the 5th lap was a decent 1:10.513!)

Only had time for 2 laps in the Peugeot 905 (my goto car for most of these 700pp events), 1st was terrible.. 3 penalties. 2nd went ok and got me a 1:09.35 for the gold. I love this car but (with the tune I did) it sure is lively around this track. Fire a neurone a few milliseconds late and you'll be sorry. :boggled:

Also just bought the Pug 908 so gave it a run (stock), not golded yet but it feels planted, so some minor tune tweaks should help with a little understeer and speed.

Not ran the C60 or TS030 yet but plan to.

I tried the GTR LM Nismo first try and only found 1:13.xxx. Did you use a setup or is that the base tune? I love the car and would love to get gold with it. Any advice or tune would really help. Thats a great lap too.

Thanks! I had to run about 10 laps until I was able to run a lap fast enough to surpass the Gold time. At the time, it placed me in 2080th place, however, by this morning, I see that my time has fallen to 6910th place.:(

I was using my own tune, so I'm sure it can be improved upon, but you are welcome to try my tune:

Got gold in the 787, forgot I had it

Throttle control: If I would use some exiting the chicane I'd be at 1:06.5. Instead, I'm stuck at 1:07.3.

Maybe I'll swap out the high-end turbo for a mid-range in my Hybride.

Try a Nascar (Jeff Gordan 24#) for fun,

just to see how far .............................................., really far. Can't even touch silver, maybe alien can.

I'd be interested to know if anyone is not lifting going around the final turn. I'm lifting and losing a lot of time there, I don't think my line is quite right either.

BMW V12, can lean on it a little around the final turn, straight away did a 1m10.5 without any tuning, going to give the Mazda (1m10.6) another shot before I decide which one to fettle.

Hi. I have a question for You people..

From the few tunes here it seems that people has started to use camber again...I thought camber was "no-go, bugged and ridicoulous" in GT6??? - Has it been fixed???

I don`t use camber, I managed to Gold this with my Pescarolo Judd `05 like most of You. I use Sixaxis controller, and my time was eeh 1,08,xxx (can`t recall the digits).

Would it be better if I put on some camber???

I set my LSD to 5-5-5 to avoid understeer (I HATE understeer, and I think all cars in GT6 suffer from bad understeer)

Or am I just all wrong?

It hasn't changed physics-wise, it's more of an evolution in tuning philosophy.

0/0 is still rather good but as a minor tweak some people like to add camber to a certain side of the car to give it a little less grip, helping to balance things out while avoiding more drastic settings (for example, front turns in perfectly but too much grip at rear causes understee; camber can even that out).

Think of it as making a car 99% comfortable 100% comfortable.

listening to Jim Jeffries talking about Justin Bieber being the new voice for KITT (Knight Rider car... the Pontiac Firebird)in a film.

I found the Sauber best and most stable through the esses and the big left sweeper. Downforce on max, 205 mph tranny. LSD at 16,28,12. The open cockpit LMP cars were just too squirrelly to stay on the track. Also, funny the Stealth 787 is not allowed, no model year!

The biggest thing for me (more than changing camber, LSD, etc.) was adding "strong" active steering. Once I did, my turns were a lot smoother and I was able to stay on the track. It also gave me an extra second towards my lap time, so give it a try and see if it helps!

I fought with the Minolta for a while and I'm glad to see it wasn't just me complaining about it slipping around like a fish if you gas it a little too much. That thing is powerful, but can be crazy. Only got me a silver though after fighting with it for three tries. Glad to know the TS020 can do it. I'll have to try that later.

OK thanks a lot for Your explanation, and sorry that i thank You a little late, but I`m not on GTPlanet every day.

I tried with a little camber (0,2 front and 0,5 rear), but it was not for me. Made my car much harder to control I think. I know it can be difficult to feel any difference, but I found it made more wheelspin with the camber, and I went more off track...

IRL camber is used to gain MORE grip in the curves, in GT6 one gets LESS grip from camber. And then there is the ride height bug also, which acts the exact opposite way of IRL...PD should have kept the GT5 driving physics if anyone ask me...

Thanks again for Your reply, kind of You :)

Great fun with the SRT Viper, the top cars are really hard to control, the track is getting tiny with these ammount of power.
The Audi R8 is rather stable on the corner exits.
Imagine you got to drive these monsters in real life, this is just insane on this kind of track.
