7th Gear?

I looked briefly and did not see a thread on this.

How do you get 7th gear for a car? Are only certain cars equipped with this?

Also what are the rules on posting in an old thread? Should I create a new thread about a subject, or revive it?

In GT3 the only car which had a 7th gear was the Lamborghini Diablo Touring Car, however, it was removed from the PAL & NTSC/US games.
It's possible to find gamesaves on here that have it unlocked via a sharkport save. (Along with a Porsche badged GT3 and the Lancia Stratos rally car)

As far as the thread revival goes, there's no problem reviving a thread with a post that continues or contributes to the thread topic.
However, don't go reviving a 5 year old thread in which the answer was already given in the 2nd post with a repeat answer!
Common sense should dictate what's acceptable here.

Thanks for the welcome and reply. I always found it weird how I coulnt tune my car for 7th, yet there was a spot for it.

I am sure I will learn much from this site for GT3, I just learned how to run my 4wd a lil smoother w/o traction control on. I know there is much for me to know about settings, as I only tweaked transmission gears a little

Try using the analog sticks for gas and brake as well as turning. Just go into options and you'll be faster already.
