This remains an update prediction thread until the patch notes drop, and really all we have left is engine swaps...

I would agree of the possibility of the Demo ahead of the holiday season just so GT7 can be on kids' wishlists

And PRo update of course, but didn't you mean VR2 too ?

Yeah just a guess based on the effort they would be putting in for the Pro launch.
Will have to see about the price cut, I was thinking connected to a demo release a bigger marketing push to get newer and larger player base. Like Sony are doing with console discounts and PSVR2 discount reportedly.

The engine swaps are not confirmed until the patch notes, which have not yet been released. They will appear at the same time as the update does for all players, around 0600 UTC tomorrow.

I’m guessing the Mercedes will be a Hagerty/LCD car and probably very expensive and available for only a short period?

Not looking forward to the grinding required for me to get it 😞

It feels like they usually give the DLC cars a bit longer in there before they're first swapped out, I'd guess you'll have a week to find 20 million.

It's annoying that none PS5 Pro owners have download updates which eat at all storage space but this one took the biscuit.

I feel like there should be an option for that. Call of Duty is bad for that. So much crap on the hard drive which I don’t use or care to use. I thought GT7 would be different but seems like it’s going to be heading that direction. Why can’t they make it an extra pack to download for Pro users only? I hate how the games get spanned over three systems now. There’s no reason for Pro Consoles, wait and just make it better yet and call it a PS6.

As for what’s in the update, who knows at this point, basically down to engine swaps and stuff that most users probably don’t even dive into. On that note, I hope they allow us to sell engines and parts.

If you can't afford it just yet add it to your wishlist so you will know when it is back in without having to constantly check.

I'm currently sitting just under 16m so hoping it won't be at 20m
