So, looks like last Thursday of the month will be when the next update will land. Don't know why, but it's starting to feel like PD is winding down it's updates. Perhaps by early next year GT7 will be done? 🤷
Makes total sense, especially considering a demo will release for the game in about a month…

Now if your saying, by next year, gt7 will be done because they’ve become complacent and ac evo// @Ian Bell ‘s game come and eat their lunch. Then i’d say you’ve got yourself a prediction..

I would say it's just more timing of major events that they're working around. By releasing a demo for a game that has been out for almost 3 years would not suggest they're slowing down. Why incentivize people to play their game with a demo of an existing game if you're going to phase it out within a year? By January I'm sure we'll be back to the regularly scheduled program.

Its as if people keep forgetting about that in addition to the PS5 Pro Update.

My Prediction:
2021 Evasive Motorsports Model 3 Pikes Peak Special
1987 RUF CTR "Yellowbird"
2019 Hyundai iMax N "drift van"
2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N TA Spec

Physics updates instead of a track

My Prediction:
...
1987 RUF CTR "Yellowbird"
Unfortunately, it is probable that the Yellowbird will not come, as it is present in the datamine list and it was said that all cars coming in the update are not from the datamine (the Ioniq on the other hand is a very likely possibility, given that the collab with Hyundai was announced back in May/June)

To quote Ferris Bueler, “we asked for a Yellowbird, we got an Ioniq. How is that for being bored under a bad sign?”

I realy don't understand your reply (I surely miss some background), but we can also rule out the Audi from my earlier prediction, as DTM event has dropped today, so the 20th missing from the grid is not likely to be connected to something coming in next updates

I've put a note in the first post, which I'll quote here to reinforce.
As of November 15th we now know the date window for the update and that it will contain five cars. Discussion for that is now here:

This thread will remain open for predictions of non-car content and features, and discussion thereof, until the update arrives.

Continue.

But if you close your eyes...
Reverse psychology always fails...

In other news, assuming our "guesses" of the contents are right, we have:

A fifth five-car update (seventh with five or more)
A fifth five-car update with four road cars and a race car...
A sixth update with no returning cars
A fourth US slump-buster update, with one "American" car after three successive no-American car updates
And probably the most expensive update ever, at about 21.5m - beating 1.20's 12.4m by almost double. These are also the only two eight-figure updates...

Anyway, car discussion is over in the Update thread, so now back to any other predictions - cars, tracks, engine swaps, races, events, books, Scapes, features, whatever else isn't cars...

Since it’s likely to contain 3 German cars, maybe a German track as well? Maybe a real world track or maybe they’ll find a way to place one of the original tracks in a German landscape/setting…?

Autumn Ring with coloured leaves (maybe even getting lifted up and around on the track as you drive past?) to show off the PS5 Pro enhancements in the Mercedes W195R.

Not entirely far fetched since they gave us the RA272 and Grand Highway with the VR update didn’t they?

It’s about time anyway. That track was so much fun and we don’t have a fall track at all. Maybe they even introduce a little early morning fog.

I think we would've had a bit more fanfare if there was a track coming, don't you think? At any rate, I wonder what the next Extra Menu(s) could be? I'm still thinking there could be one for the three LMP1 cars from the 2016 LM24.

I predict version number will be higher than 1.53, we get the demo, pro update, and GT7 game price cut.
How did you know it wouldn't be 1.53 ??!??

What else are you hiding from us ?

With the sheer size of the update :

I would agree of the possibility of the Demo ahead of the holiday season just so GT7 can be on kids' wishlists

And PRo update of course, but didn't you mean VR2 too ?

Price cut ??
Wel that's awkward?? Why the contradiction?
Maybe you don't know everything
It makes nonsense if update skip a number just to get a price cut... Cute.

If anything, this going to be cementing GT7 for the next couple of years....

Until the PS6 comes out.

Feels like the 32gb size indicates prerequisites for the next update are being included alongside the Pro enhancements.

This would make sense if they want to do something in Dec or early Jan as these time periods are usually when your development teams/company are winding down and lots of vacations etc. Front load the majority of the next update now and just hold it back.
