They overtook the Toyota by using a loophole in the rules. That's all. It makes not sense to allow overtaking in the pits while the safety car is out, as the entire point is to essentially stop the race for a while. It's not good sportsmanship.

And to then start the race in a manner where the leading cars are packed in a group of slower cars, is just downright idiotic.

Is having a more efficient team of mechanics a loophole? The overtaking is prohibited during yellow flag for safety purposes but what's the thret of an overtake in pitlane? The yellow flags purpose isn't to stop the race, is to control the cars speed and manouvers while clean-up is done, so I still think that what you say is somewhat off...

Can't believe it, all this crashing and none of it involved Vickers. Has Hell frozen over yet?

There is no loophole. Toyota would have done the same thing. Is this your first time watching a le mans race?

So our pint sized rocket is out now. Shame. :(

To be fair though, Toyota have really won me over here, and it's such a shame they were the culprit.

Biased post is biased.

What's the Audi crew suppposed to do? "Oh, yeah, look, those Toyota guys are sloww as snails, let's grab a drink and kick back a gear."

Deal with it, Le Mans is largely won by how long the cars are in the pits and Audi was just faster than that. Plus, it hardly matters anyways. Thank Nakajima for that. Sheesh.

Sorry to kill the mood but I'm loving how the #48 looks like.

Stop and go penalty for #75

This last 2 hours have been very disappointing. Everything was getting so exciting but now it's just gone to meh again. :(

Audi #1 is achieving quicker lap times than Toyota #7.

Relax guys. As much as I love the Deltawing, I still want Toyota to soldier on. I want Audi to win, and I'm sure they will, but I don't want a lame victory. I wan't Toyota to fight on until the end and the best Audi, I mean, the best team, taking the win.
