...About the Nissans that are running, they're still on track to be classified finishers, if neither has to go in the garage for anything over about 45 minutes. Just bringing 2 out of 3 cars to the flag alone will be a stunning effort, considerably better than Toyota's 5 minutes of fury then double retirement from their first P1 effort.

Remember, every lap more they turn, every minute that goes by where the cars are circulating, the more data they get. They've had lots of small gremlins, and they've had some truly odd encounters not of their own making, but phased they aren't. Good on them.
Won't they need to make 70% of the leader's distance to be classified. The 22 is about 7 laps behind that mark at this point.

I went off calculations from a few different people on Twitter, but even if not classified, keeping cars running throughout the race and getting them across the line is unspeakably better than retiring both.
