It's pretty incredible for Nico to come to Le Mans during his Formula One season and win. Outright. This year for me was a fantastic race, even though I'm a really big Audi fan I'm glad Porsche have returned to the front and taken the fight right to them. There was so many fantastic battles throughout the field throughout the entire race!

Until next year, when I'll be visiting this great race for the very first time in person! I can't imagine I'll ever tire of endurance racing! A sleepless weekend well spent, as always.

Think I clocked 18 hours total of the race watched. Took a break between 3 and 9. Definitely a new record for me.

If there was one Porsche I wanted to win it'd be Hulk's, I hope he starts a trend and gets himself a bigger seat. Superb.

Anyone for a bit of GT6 now? Le Mans, of course. LMPs. Maybe LMGT later. I have a room open.

And so, the German anthem plays, as the Porsche drivers can revel in their victory... It's the end of an almost 20-year drought for Porsche in the king of all classes. How strange must it be to see this sight again for an old Porsche fan, huh?

Next year is shaping up to be absolutely sensational. I would love to see Toyota and Nissan on pace. The only possible way for this to get better if Mazda stuns the world with a 4 rotor-turbo hybrid or a big V8 powered Sauber. GTE should be sensational too. It would be great to see a factory backed Viper in the fray with Corvette Racing and Ford Performance.

Just lined up my 1:64 scale model Porsches...

I wonder if Hülkenberg will cancel his Force India contract at the end of this year :P

I said it before, and I'll say it again, I can see Niko having a bright future in WEC, especially since he has such an amazing works team like Porsche behind him. Especially in this season, Force India seems to be quite a bit behind the pace and it's simply not a team suited for his abilities and talent.

But again, if he wants to continue in F1, so be it. As soon as he doesn't have a seat anymore or ends his career in F1 I can see him going full-time into WEC, just like Webber.

Now that Eurosport are done, think we'd better close them off by asking; whose advert do we think they showed the most?

Congratulation on making a perfect race Porsche.

This is 100th time I listen to them German national anthem... TBH I want to listen to others...

The marketing potential of this win is mammoth especially with Porsche transitioning to 4 cylinder engines in the near future. Too bad they aren't V4s :(
