Looked more like a car was going off on the left and the others were braking, while Treluyer was "asleep".
Slow zones are usually announced in the sector before, so there shouldn't be a surprise.

That's what's great about endurance racing, they can fix almost anything in very short time, and there's still a chance it can win the race after that, although it's rather unlikely.

I can only guess that the slow zone was about to end by the time Duval got there (we had already seen the marshals remove the debris) so he didn't slow down but drove into the back of cars which were already slowed to the speed limit, either way it's pretty stupid to go off the road and hit other cars.

E- The onboard replay shows a flashing yellow light before the group, looks even worse on Duval now.

Out on the right (left from inside the car), an official (marshal? A guy in an orange suit ) almost got hit behind the barriers, and as mentioned a bit above this, he had to dive to avoid getting hurt.
