Missed about an hour. Been out for a little session of jogging and brisk walking. Just seen the #8 Audi crash. Anyone know what happened to cause it? Looks like the Audi which I assume was in the hands of Duval was trying to avoid something.

I know what each car looks like but can't tell who is in the car at any one time.

Duval didn't slow in time for a slow zone and crashed trying to avoid the bottleneck of cars in front of him.

That excavator has an ugly livery, I think as the official Le Mans 2015 barrier repair excavator it should have at least racing stripes.

So apparently Duval was told on the exit of Mulsanne corner that it was green + the marshals were waving green flags, but cars ahead hadn't got this message, and the electronic systems which control the speed in the slow zones were still in place/the lights were flashing yellow, but marshals were waving green. Something along those lines though.
