I don't know whether to pity Toyota or continue to laugh at how they're continually jinxed at LM.

This thing really cant happen... I can see the announcement from Toyota about leaving WEC this year :/

To be honest, what with Toyota's horribly rotten luck at Le Man, I really wouldn't blame them :nervous:. At this rate, the only way we're going to get another Toyota into the lead battle, is if there's a combo of the #1 having a serious problem, and the #9 pulling out when hell of a come back, and driving like it's possessed.

Ferrari lead both GTE classes somehow.

Also ironic, people on here didn't like Audi because they won, and now complain because the other Germans are going to win potentially.

However we have had 10 hours, 14 left... plenty of time.

Also Rebellion to win LM?

I wonder how heartbreaking it for Kamui having to limp that thing back to the pits after destroying the record.

Listen, as I brand I don't even like Toyota that much, and you probably would never see me driving one. But I'll tell you, my heart is right there beside the Toyota LMP1 team. Last year nobody talked about them and came out with the killer program with a new car and we know the story. Last year they still would've won if the #5 hadnt damaged the undertray in its off in the gravel. In 1994 they were an hour and a half from winning when the car came to a stop at the end of the front stretch, in the EXACT spot the #6 stopped last year.

This race is a long way from over yet, so I won't say anything other than Kobayashi and Conway had a bullet man. Time for me to do my homework on Yuji Kunimoto...

Pits just told him "Target 20 kph", so it must be the most efficient speed to get it back while working with the electric motors?

There's only so much money you can spend with results not coming in.
I wouldn't be surprised if they've had enough after this, just like their shortlived F1 career.
They've won the WEC LMP1 category so it's not like they're gaining nothing out of this.

The Rebellion is only 2 laps off the podium now, I'm not sure the Toyota has the hybrid power to get back to the pits which would mean curtains for it.
