Good try persistance. I'm sure you'll be back on winning form in the next challenge. Doing entire races is much more difficult than just a fastest lap time. Strategy plays a Big part in the final outcome.;)

thanx gvx , we've had teething trouble but who hasn't ?? NEXT TIME MAN !! C U THERE!!!:smilewink

Team moral here may not exactly be bubbling but I would just like to say stick at it guys keep fighting and look forward to the next time. At the moment you are fighting a relegation battle but next time I am sure it will be a different story. This 9 Boards run has been imo an experiment and a lot has been learned from it. For Pedro and me it has been both fun and a nightmare to run but the biggest lesson learnt by 90 guys has been that team work is the key to very fast times.

Take a guy who can do a run of say 2.00 and another 2.20 stick em in a private forum trade setups and discuss the line the tyres to use etc and the slower guy is down to a 2:10 before he even plugs in his PS2. Run more open events instead of racing one another spend time scouring other forums for setup techniques and discuss them openly. Run some spot races in stages from a stock to a fully blown car and post winning setups. Try mini series of teams v teams and get to know the fastest guys and learn from them. Next time such an event comes around get your side together quicker and get a private forum going for racers only and I gaurentee you that this board will do far better. But most of all get a hold of a replay trading device nothing will get you quicker besides practice than watching replays of top drivers. There are loads of them around for GT2 to download and there will be too for gt3. You have the 2nd biggest membership here and dont deserve to be in that "relegation battle".

Like I said this has been an experiment nothing more, learn from it.

Hello GTPlanet members.

Despite the problem that happened at the end, I would like to say thanks to all the drivers that participated.

Especially to Mr. Persistance for his job as captain, when it seemed that this board would not participate, he was able to carry things on.

To ZeroCool85, I would like to say that there was no need for you to do what you did.
It's a shame what happened and I hope you learned the lesson and don't repeat it anymore.
This is just a game, where we try to have fun.
You know that from now on things won't be easy for you on the OLR community, so it all depends on your future behaviour if you can recover any respect or not, especially after the second chance Jordan gave you.

Thanks

thanx pedro , your approach to this incident has been spot on man , i hope that the rest of the racing community are as understanding as yourself , i hope that the incident will not hamper team gtp from taking part in future on line racing as it is not really fair for the whole team to loose out because of one members actions , hopefully next time it happens team gtp will be invited to take part ( minus zerocool obviously ) coz i know that the other guys who did take part cant wait to get a better result next time , thanx for your post man we've not had to many positive posts of late , but we will get over this !! see you next time friend and thanx :)

Well, I for one will be participating in the next Team GTPlanet. And, hopefully, we'll be much more organized next time. :)

Great to see your team contesting the '9 boards' challenge.

Just droped in to say high, and i hope to be dropping in from time to time for some racing.

cheers.
