INTRODUCTION

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, located in Speedway, Indiana (an enclave suburb of Indianapolis) in the United States, is the home of the IndyCar Indianapolis 500-Mile Race and the NASCAR Brickyard 400.

It has existed since 1909, and is the original Speedway, the first racing facility so named. With a permanent seating capacity for an estimated 257,325 people, it's the highest-capacity stadium-type facility in the world!

A modern infield road course was constructed between 1998 and 2000, incorporating the western and southern portions of the oval (including the southwest turn) to create a 2.605-mile (4.192 km) track. The road course layout is famous for it's flat out banked final turn resulting in top speeds close to 320kmh. One of the longest flat out sections of any track we visit coupled with the tight infield demands a tradeoff of high speed and high downforce. Who will finish first in SEASON 2's FINALE at Indy?

RACE DETAILS

Room will open MONDAY ~7pm Eastern time, 4m Pacific. Qualifying will begin ~30-60 minutes after room open. Being an Endurance Round tire usage is open with a minimum of 2 stints per tire compound. A minimum stint of 13 laps not including the pace lap.

I am very sorry for not completing the race last night. My mom wanted me off my 9 PM actually (I thought she said 9:30), and she came in and told me to get off. It would've been a good race between me and Freak too -_-

Yeah those battles were something. As soon as Mythic left I thought it was clean coasting but then Flyin shows up. Great event. Looking forward to season 3.

Make sure you read the regs on season 3. Theres a good drop in power for GTS cars, but imo it brings their performance closer together and slows them in comparison to the GT1 class. And express your desire to run a specific car because GTS class is limited to ONE DRIVER PER CAR next season so there's diversity in the field.

I'd like to run the Merc for season three... I want to be in the top class this time.
