Hopefully we'll get a great finish, but I'm not too up on this year's Le Mans.

Hasn't been great, too many lengthy safety cars, the Balance of Performance debacle has tainted both GTE and LMP for me, crippling competition. Imagine how great the GTE battle would be if AF Corse, Corvette and Viper were more on equal footing with Aston Martin and Porsche?

And of course the death of Simonsen has cast a shadow over this one.

Also the #97 Aston back in YET AGAIN for Inters...what they put on in the first place!! :banghead: :banghead:

Someone PLEASE make a .gif image of that LMP2 car spinning in front of the Audi with the "Deal with it" glasses !

Ask and ye shall receive.

With me being much to busy with the race to add glasses, you'll have to let me do that another time. This will substitute for now.

Oh and look, green flag.

Ohhh...another Corvette eargasm...

Also...whats the best tyres to use in this mixed conditions? Wets which are good in the wet but terrible in the dry, slicks on vice versa, or inters which is best of both?

That's pretty much the best overtake in Le Mans history!

Good, I am happy for VWAG domination. The best cars means the most wins, Simple. Only marque with more wins than Audi are Porsche and for good reason.

We all like it when our team wins, but you should at least acknowledge the outcome is not always good for the sport.. dominance of any team does makes things a little boring, and it seems to me that's the reason for a lack of any sympathy towards Audi.

Absolutely. I don't mind it when the best team wins, but a bit like Triple Eight in the V8 Supercars, whining when one little thing doesn't go their way is a bit incongruous when you're clearly in the best, richest team on the grid - you don't have a huge amount to complain about on the rare occasions it doesn't go completely perfectly.

FFS these SC periods are more pathetic then F1's. When it started raining it was so awesome with the Porsche/Aston battle, now this BS.

Audi/VW best cars :D :D :D

Btw, Mercedes is the only german manufacturer which has won F1 championships. Audi can wave their record win streak against privateers as much as they want.
