It's public road, it's not up to the ACO is it to manage armco barriers? That's french equivalent of the highways agency surely?

I think that's the case indeed. Although the ACO might have a word to say, I don't think they have full control of what's happening.

Where are you guys hearing Simonson is OK? I hope it is true, but Speed just reported that Aston people came out of care center looking real concerned and would not even comment on him being conscious.

Time to turn the volume back up on the home cinema lets go racing or not as safety car goes round again grrr

Aston twitter, and FIA on Eurosport. OAK Art car with issues. Maybe needs new paint

Just get the Audi engineers out there, they'll get it fixed before a lap has been driven.

The Safety Car has been out for a little under 45 minutes and it's about to come back in. 👍

Which Audi driver was it would tore off the front of his LMP last year? They could use him to rip off any damaged parts of the armco barriers. :)

Andrew Marriott reported that the Aston team was tight lipped about Simonsen's condition, I'm a bit conflicted about the reports so far.

Eks
Yes. Are there any streams that aren't just onboard cams?

I've got the Audi #2's live stream, but it's part of a subscription (DKK 89,- a month - I got it free from my tv provider :D), so they're not "public available" so to say.

#95 garage closed :(.

Well guys we saw history here...this is the longest Safety Car in the history of Le Mans...the previous was 53 minutes...we are past 54 minutes now.
lol

Yeah, yeah, Audi has some pretty safety-cars, blah, blah, yadda, yadd, GET THE DAMN THINGS OFF THE TRACK ALREADY!

Err...not the record I wanted to see broken

That Oak Morgan is the worst looking race car ever, I'm not a huge fan of "art" cars at the best of times but that one is shocking.

"Badass Dumas" and his Dumas Smash!

The R18 looks hot without the front body work, in my opinion :D
