why did it take quite a lot of time for the live timing to update when the Audis passed the Toyoya in the pits?

does anyone have a more responsive one?
I think it's because there's only a few light barriers that take the time. As such, the standings can only be updated every now and then. Three times per lap, or something like that.
Of course it has nothing to do with the mirrors not looking in that direction at an angle and it is the teams job to keep him informed on the radio. Not to mention, the Porsche driver, right or wrong can clearly see directly in front of him. I would rather tap the brakes and let the guy in rather than wreck my car.
Wasn't it obvious that I was making a joke? More aimed at your avaerage Ferrari driver than the actual situation in the race, too.

Did someone catch the entire explanation of the Simonsen crash? I heard it had to do with another car that did an odd move on Simonsen, he braked and stepped on a wet curb and that sent him spearing into the armco.

Sorry, maybe I am just a bit leery given the average amount of Ferrari hate here on the planet.

I still don't have a clue what happened either, haven't seen a replay or heard what happened

Come on Toyota bring the race to Audi, as much as I am a Audi le mans fan I love a good race

This.

That's why I loved Audi's last race with Peugeot and loathed last years race which was basically a walkover for Audi.

I kind of feel bad for the Corvette fans. They've been amongst the favourites for their class for so many years, and now they seem to be nowhere near being competitive :(

My friend told me that it seems like Simonsen got a bit of help from the #70 Corvette.. I'm not sure but he watched it from the on board camera from the car at the back.

Question I just thought about: Is the GT-PRO program in the WEC basically a dress Rehearsal for the Prototype effort? This is after all Porsche's first time with a in-house factory team for quite some time (since the GT1 I think), maybe they are using this year as a good training program for the crew and team and getting an establishment in place.

Can someone help Eurosport realize that the Corvette that was being lapped is a GTE-AM car not a GTE-Pro and they can stop the American bashing geez..

I heard about a battle between Porsche and Aston but I don't see it on the WEC livestream. Is threre a better stream? All I'm seeing all the time is the Audi onboard...

Lotterer in the pits again. Audi showing to have changed from its traditional strategy to a "flat-out, pit often" approach.

Light rain is now falling. Drivers on slicks, for now. #24LM AudiR18_1 - reply - retweet // news // about 48 seconds ago

Reports Audi.
