Cliche I know, but wow, how good does the race look lit up at night? The cars lighting the way down Mulsanne...hairs on the back of the neck stuff. I NEED to go there one of these years!

Woah! An exterior shot! Well, not an exterior shot, more like an image of a human. I would have thought they would put a camera in their mouth's in order to stick to the onboard camera pass theme.

Apparently there was a tree behind that part of armco. Pure damn fluke it was that exact part he hit.

I think they're going to have to move the track back from the poplar trees so as to expand the space over which the armco can deform in the event of any future accidents in the same place. The accident was highly unusual, but as we have now seen, it was possible. :(

It wasn't like Dan Wheldon's crash in 2011, where the question was "Why on earth were they running Indy Car's at a track like that", it was more of a case of "With the benefit of hindsight the barrier should have been further from the trees", but that doesn't stop the tragedy of the accident, it merely means there is no nasty finger pointing due after the crash.

@McLaren. Not funny.
It wasn't meant to be. Seriously, it's borderline spam just looking at the time intervals between each picture.

And that's not including all the posts about tweets & what not, all info we are all watching ourselves.

The #1 Audi has clawed back around half a lap on the leader they are only 11 1/2 laps behind. Lead for the #2 Audi seems to be a lap and around 30 seconds ahead of the #8 car

Ditto. I don't have much to comment about his coverage as it's essentially very similar as what we're all discussing here and watching at our homes, but he has a similar project to me and I support that 👍".

Thanks :) I think my vision has been way to blurry for way to long so I'm struggling to spot anything different. I'm going to write something bigger now since it seems to have gone quiet. Gotta keep my mind awake some how!

Not everyone is.... Sorry for keeping people informed like last two years, which no-one has ever had an issue with before.

If you are not allowed to post pictures of an event, which not everyone will see, why are we on a forum to discuss it?

No one said any of this. It's the fact you are spamming the hell out of the photos with no actual discussion on them. Hell, one of the photos is really just a dude's ass refueling a LMP behind it.

Speed channel trying to blame this years lack of performance from the Vettes on developing the new car for next year, no mention of the obvious reason...the BOP!

Seems Larbre and Corvette are essentially 1 Corvette team now, nice to hear about some co-operation.

RT @evoque Nice of the @CorvetteRacing crew to lend the @LarbreComp team an engineer to diagnose the ailing #70 C6.

Anyone else's stream locking up literally every few seconds? What's the best stream for you all at the moment?

There will forever be a place in my heart for the Corvette GT1/2 cars. It's like the same feeling I get when I hear a Brian May guitar solo - that sort of 'ohhhhh...that's epic' feel

I agree with you here.

Somehow the ambient this year is a bit more "serious" than in past years, I don't know why. I always see this thread as both a news feed for those that can't watch the race and a place for having a friendly discussion that isn't too childish or too overly mature (i.e: boring).

As for the post count, Jordan could remove it from under my username for all I care 👍. It's not like I win anything at 3k posts.

Do you think we'll be able to double stint the tires in GT6?

I noticed Radio Le Mans are doing that too...politically correct?

'Mystifyingly the pace in the Corvettes hasn't been there this year.'

Oh no shtako, Sherlock...

I notice that. That's why this is the only internet forum I visit when the race is on. To talk with like-minded folks :)

Let's chill folks. The last thing we should be doing, especially after the death of a race driver, is bickering and being immature on the internet.

Anyway, back to the Corvettes...

Exactly, why do GTP users wan't to get high post counts?

JMW Ferrari humour - the wasp now

The #66 @JMWmotorsport #SexyWasp Ferrari has been given a penalty for an unspecified pitlane infringement. #SadWasp #LM24

Okay, just got up, I see Audi is first and the other 2 Toyota's are in 2nd & Third place. What happened to the #1 Audi R18?

Oh by the way, good job Toyota, good job! 👍 :)

No hybrid failures!!

JMW certainly are just here for fun aren't they?

We're getting a stop and go penalty. Some said the rule number broken, I think it's for being too sexy for our pitstop

The director of the Corvette team is being positive about the race, even with getting caught behind the wrong safety car everytime so far.
