Downside to the SPEED coverage I get is that it is not in HD :(

I don't know why channels like that get put off for being available in HD around here...

It's getting replaced by Fox Sports 1 in August though, and I'm guessing that may be in HD. I don't know how much racing they will broadcast...I've got a bad feeling about it really. It seems like a general sports channel, so I might be missing out on a lot more racing come then. Just have to wait and see.

SPEED has really gotten the short end of the stick recently. Losing out on F1 coverage, and basically being replaced by a different branding. It was good while it lasted, even if I only got to see it in SD.

Watching the in car from the Number 91 Porsche.
Fantastic. Dumas and Pilet have been running nose to tail together for the past 10 minutes.
Go Porsche, go!

Same deal with the Toyotas! This is where teamwork comes into play.

Eurosports coverage is good compared to most things you'll see. Although, the ads seem to be coming at the worst possible times this year, and they seem longer than usual. The entire race in full HD though? Can't complain.

Ah ok, looks like its just complaints regarding Commercial timing.

I have to say as much as Speed irritates with there questionable coverage sometimes, they actually are showing far more of the race then they did the past few years. As oppose to having at least eight hours taken up by crappy programming, its only been about three hours or so. By this time, I'd be watching another rerun of "Gears" or "Pimp my Ride" or "Past Time" or some stupid program that has nothing to do with Motorsports. This time they actually are gonna air the rest of the race all the way to the end. Guess its the least they can do since this is essentially their final year of Le Mans coverage.

Not replaced, just renamed and reduced. It's already owned by Fox. They want to be more compatible with ESPN. Which explains why they didn't pony up the cash to retain F1 coverage. If they would've shown more racing diversity, they wouldn't have lost viewers! At least we have 21.5 hours for this event, FINALLY!!!

Right it is under Fox. But it seems it is more than a renaming, as info and advertising points to it being a general sports station rather than a racing specific one.

Number 8 has pitted but number 7 hasn't yet.

According to Radio Le Mans Audi will need two more stops more than Toyota and the cost of that is about the same as the lead.

Perhaps we have a race.
