99 V8 Vantage Problem

So I bought a 99 V8 Vantage out of the UCD. Tuned to 970hp. I have gears 3 through 6 near perfect, but 1 and 2 are killing me. My acceleration off the start blows and then I just fly past. How can I fix my acceleration problem?

in the grid where you set your gears.. each square (from left to right) is equal to 25mph or 40kph. in that car, you'd to launch in second gear and have THAT gear set right past 100mph so that you can just launch straight up to around 90mph before shifting to 3rd gear.

i haven't tuned this car, but that's the general philosophy i use for cars that spin out so damn much due to power and torque in lower gears.
