I think what you are saying is possible. I have rarely, indeed never, seen updates on Monday.

I do agree about this week/ Thursday. That said, I believe the timing of the maintenance is the time they announce the weeks daily races… Im trying to ignore any hopes that they’d fix PP and give us interesting races again.

I think it normally mentions update in the announcement along the lines of ‘a new game update will be available after maintenance’ or something like that.

I suspect this will be just as stated and will be maintenance only potentially in preparation for an update on the Thursday

Seems to me that is a server upgrade before the new client is pushed out so that more testing can be done in a 'live environment'.
But that is a pure 'WAG'...

I also think the same. Normally, if I'm not mistaken, in the announcement says if it's a new update, or just maintenance.

They have done maintenance already took 23 hours to come back online again so I think it is just a update and no maintenance

Baffling!

Sounds like they put the initial no-update notice out first, then realized that a whole lot is going to be changing and didn't fully scrub the initial notice.

A.i fix would be nice 🤞 Probably the worst A.I going. It's like they've copied the a.i programming from GT1. Makes me close to Rage quitting and burning the Console.
