A.R.C #2 (( Early Warning ))

Hi guys

If enough interest I was hoping to put forward a date to start the 2nd A.R.C being ...Monday 1st March

After the suggestions that were posted regarding a slight change to the original A.R.C this time round we will have a choice from all 10 Rally Cars over a 6 week duration.

And 3 of the rounds will be run using Sim version with Stage 1 turbo. 2 are marked in advance

This will be a 2 Man/Woman Team Competition 👍

Only use each car 1 Time and 1 Time only , the competition will be run over 6 weeks and all 6 cars you use should be different

Races can vary from a Hot lap to a 2 or 3 lap Race at my Discretion
REMEMBER ! .... A Different car PER COURSE

I was thinking maybe 10 weeks is too long
maybe if we use only the forward or reverse rally tracks and cut it down to 6 weeks?

any suggestions would be considered

You could always run 2 races a week, Stage 1 Turbo + Normal
You could split it up if people didn't want to run the sim races. Then you could then split it into two leader boards and an overall leader board. Some 3 or 5 lap races would be cool aswell Just my ideas, don't have to use em.

I will be racing again with my old racing buddy Max E teamname still undecided ATM.

Hopefully we can get the likes of JBrennen, Bware, Jimeez and LDM ... (to name a few!) .... to return and give us some great competition

Each team member can pick whatever car they want from the 10 available for any round they please ...... be it the ARCADE version or the SIM version!
But only drive a SIM version car on the weeks delegated to be a SIM week ...

. So long as over the 6 weeks no one driver has used the same car more than 1 time.

But you and your team mate are free to choose a different car on the same course in the same week ! no problem

There will be a Individual Drivers Leaderboard and a Teams Leaderboard in every weekly results.

I would like to get in on this in honor of the fact that I really need to work on my rallying.

Problem is, I don't really want to come in last, and I don't want to drag down my team mate with a horrible performance. (consistant, but horrible. )

Anyway, if you guys have suggestions, or if you have a desire to run on a team in an attempt to not come in last, let me know.

Dont worry about it man! I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to rallying Got a shot at trying out that Subaru Rally Simulator thinggy at the Montreal Auto Show around mid January. The record on Swiss Alps with the Impreza Rally Prototype ( GTC ) was 1'25.8 and I blew it Spun out at the before last turn and turned out a 1'35.xxx
So yeah I'm here to have fun and try to improve my rallying skills just like you

Just thinking that it would be possible to get the arcade rally car settings from a replay...they could then be set for the tarmac events....it may be possible to recreate the arcade cars in the sim mode...but then every body would require an x-port

EDIT.

Just checked the difference of the scooby WRC prototype...arcade car is set up is the same as the default settings for the sim car...only difference is that the oil change thing is set to not occur.
