Well its about midnight here and it looks like Tony Stewart killed a guy tonight. I'm not gonna post the video but I know you guys will see it. Ugh.

Wow definitely not good news to wake up to. Just saw the video and I can honestly say what makes this even more tragic is how unnecessary this loss of life was, as it had nothing to do with the actual crash.

That was so sad. Kevin should have known not to be that close. Visibility on that side of a sprint car is almost nonexistent doe to the top wing hanging so low I know this for a fact. I my self have almost been run over at slow speed in a well lit pit area. (That was lit better than that track was) bad combination 20 years old cooky and pissed off. :(

Garage/pit pass is a must for sure. Very cool but chaotic. Autograph session is weird because you can tell who wants to be there and who doesn't. Guys that were ultra cool were Justin Wilson, Charlie Kimball, Tony Kanann, Scott Dixon, and Joseph Newgarden. Juan was cool, I told him I've been a fan since 1998 and he shook my hand. I shook Juan effing Montoya's hand! Haha. Will Power did not wanna be there. I wanna say he was an asshole but he just didn't care. That's ok, whatevs.

The weekend was pretty awesome. I'm trying to figure out if Friday and Saturday are really worth it. I did get to see and do some cool stuff on those days. I just so hot here and there is no escape from the sun. But yeah dude I got to see the pros do their thing and it was well worth it. People I got to see just walking around: Dario Franchitti, Mario Andretti (on a scooter), Robin Miller, Jon Beekus and Johnny O' Connell. Ohh and Connie Montoya. Dear lord she was gorgeous. Thanks Bowtie for the tip on the garge/pit pass, the pre race grid walk was awesome and complete insanity. Traffic was to and from the track was great and the rules at the track were super laid back. Heading home today hopefully will make it back tonight and won't have to camp again.

Looks and sounds like lots of fun Sass. To answer Bowtie I believe that is close to what I was running.

I have only tested the gen 6 plan on getting a couple gen 5s to test too.

Rocked by 6.1 earthquake last night. Everything is fine. I guess the track and facilities is good to go for raceday.
Don't tell me you felt the 1 from Napa Valley California?. The richter scale didn't show that the earthquake shoke more than the surrounding Napa area. At this point I will inform you guys that I was part of the Northridge 6.7 quake back in 95. But all & all I'll take an earthquake over a tornado, hurricane, blizzard, flooding, etc any ay of the week. Plus quakes don't usually hit the same area twice in a life time, so you may not feel another 1 if you stay put in that city/area.

Well yeah, I was in the napa/Sonoma area for that race. We were about 27 miles away and just got a gentle but thorough shaking. The drivers on the other hand had all the glass and mirrors broken in their hotel rooms.

Finally in front of my computer again. Wow, so cool I could share those pics from the track. A little awkward and time consuming to share from my phone but it does work. Hopefully if anyone else goes to something they'll share as well from the hotel room. I'm ready to turn some laps tonight and I'm not looking forward to the disappointing sounds from GT after seeing the real thing.
