No internet connection is perfect or probably ever will be, but just remember that there was a large amount of racers last night, which probably led to some of the issues. Anyway thanks to everyone making an appearance last night. We made ARS history last night with the largest participation of any ARS event.

Last night was a lot of fun! I enjoyed every part of it. (Especially the parts when I was leading.) But when it came time for me to perform, I made a mistake that cost me the race. But anyways, Congrats to Racefan for capitalizing on my said mistake! As with the incident with rap. I feel that he raced me fair all the way except for that final shove he gave me in the tri-oval that put me in the wall. I feel it wasn't fair, but that's for the officials to decide, and I won't say anymore about it. As always, thanks for the great racing, and hopefully, we can get the same kind of turnout for the next race.
Off to Apricot Hill!

Great race everyone! The whole 4 stops under caution keeps it interesting. Replay looked great, I can't wait to see the pics. What is the track record for apricot?

ARS Press Release

After the stewards reviewed the replays rap129 will receive a 5 point penalty for avoidable contact, and racefan8850 will receive a warring for passing below the yellow line. The yellow line rule only affects races at Daytona. A warning to all drivers that passing below the yellow line and repeatedly forcing drivers below the yellow line will not be tolerated. There was a lot of forcing other drivers down below the yellow line. We all need to not beat on the rear bumpers in the corners so munch let off a little so your not spinning the driver in front of you out.

I accept my penalty, what I did was not very sportsman like and didn't give us as a whole and myself a good impression to the new people. I have a bit of a temper in real life and my virtual one. Wether it be people who can't march in a decent straight across line or play their drums at the right time in real life (I'm not a band nerd I swear) or in my virtual life where it could be spawning and instanly getting killed, or getting raced like a clown throughout an event to the point it could've wrecked me on more than one ocasion and did wreck others and I. I've been trying to work on it, but sometimes I still have my moments where I, more or less, let it get the best of me in a situation meant to be a lot fun and produce a few laughs. I'm not trying to justify what I did to recieve this penalty, I expected and was fully aware I'd get one when I did it. Thank you Bowtie for a fast and reasonable point deduction, also appreciate everyone waiting on me to be able to have a chance to participate in one of my favorite tracks with my favorite group of racers.

To the person I had this incident with, I'm not at all mad because I lost. A 2nd place finish is basically a first to me at Daytona, I just don't appreciate the way you raced me in certain situations throughout the race. I am not sorry at all for what I did to you, but I am sorry I to the group for the bad image I portrayed. It also has nothing to do with the length of time I've known you, would have done the same to anyone here. Probably at a less important time and that aggresively, but hey it is what it is. Oh, I hope all of the American's in this group have a great, and safe Fourth of July. Remember, alcohol and fireworks is NOT a good mix!
