A choice of 9 cars is not going to take you very long to get through, and you are missing out on a whole lot more fun with another 160 standards which are eligible for this event. even if half of those are far to slow for a win.

I done my first run with a Toyota Celica to win this, tho I wish I had run a non Japanese car when I had the chance.

Well I know a lot of people really enjoy the standard cars - I got all respect for that - and some of them seem to really stand out with unique characteristics and are very popular (GSX-R, Toyota 7, 2J, ZZII, classic E-Type, GT40 Race Car, ...). But I'm only playing the game since jan 2015, narrowing my garage to only the premium cars still gives hundreds of cars to experience for the first time. Even now I don't even know where to begin, they all seem so fun to drive! 1200 cars is way too much to start with anyway so I prefer the ones that give good graphics in replay/photo mode and that have a dashboard. But I can sure see myself moving over to some standard cars in several months from here as well, depends how long we have to wait for GT7.

In regards to this seasonal, 9 cars to choose from is indeed limited, but there are other seasonal events to do as well. And I haven't even done a multiplayer race yet so plenty of things to do in the game, heck I would play it even a lot more in A-spec if it wasn't for this knee injury I got from my G27 pedals because that autumn ring reverse seasonal 2-4 weeks ago was so fun. :( But to give the knee some rest I am doing all career mode races over again in B-spec mode which is actually quite fun and also a good way to get a first impression of a new car.

Really bonding with that Sileighty, surprisingly. Best lap has been 1:44.5 and 5:40-ish overall as I recall.

I keep tweaking the tune trying to find time here and there. Any tips? Here's my tune:

95/90

5.5/5.5
4/3
1/5
6/6
1.0/1.5
-.07/-.15

4/4

Custom transmission with top speed at 220km/h.

LSD 7/14/5

Ballast at +29, all the way to the rear.

Oil change, improved rigidity.

Also using AS on mild, TC1, ABS1.

Gives 232hp @ 450pp.

Midgenight Cowboy.

I've tried using the Mercedes Benz 190E used for 450PP European car seasonal but can only use my dirt and 450PP Track Toy Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution from the screenshot above and win easily against the heavier Nissan Skyline GT-R M.N.P

Just buy any of the 90's Honda NSX and you will have more cars that will easily win.

If you had raced this Seasonal in the first hours it as available you were not limited to Japanese cars - a mistake at PD evidently as it was fixed in less than a day.

Bit late but here's a vid of the event in the Premium '97 GTR

Hope you enjoy... :gtpflag:
