This race... the opponents are Ferrari f430s R35 GTRs Audi R8s 84 GTOs... these are 500PP cars?

No they are not, :irked: they are actually higher in PP which

We went from a race car event around Nordschleife on wet roads, to sunny day driving around on comfort soft rubbers?
I dispise all comfort tires unless drifting.
What a huge disappointment, really.
ZZ-II to get the prize money and colors, rabbits were (lol) a Cizeta and a F-California.
I went 291hp/920kg on it, ran a trans set at 3.600 final (max/min/flip).
Probably should have brought the weight up to 1k and ran extra hp, but didn't have issues anyway, got into 1st at the end of lap 2/beginning of 3rd.

How do you guys control the car with CS tires?

4wd really helps out. I used a Toyota Caldina simply becasuse I was in it doing some tuning. Amazing grip even on CS tires. An easy win and a lot of tire smoking fun, even with the Miura trying a banzai move to knock me out at the bus stop. Took the same car to the other 2 seasonals for easy wins. Didn't even change to SH tires.

On CS or worse go easy on the power and brakes. I find corner speed has to be measured... dont go too fast or the thing will break into under or oversteer depending in the car.

There is nothing wrong with CS tires. I used to hate them too, but I was also the guy with RS on a 400pp Miata. I have learned to deal with low grip situations and it boils down to braking early, using the inside curbing to your advantage, and being smooth with the controls. Having a tune that is tire specific really helps too. For this event I had to change my Diff settings because I was set up for SS tires. Just drive with caution and find your braking points because plowing off the corner or coming out sideways in a cloud of smoke will just put you further back in the pack.

Well the AI is supposed to lose. I can run 13:45s with a GSXr, so its not like winning with a Ghia is impressive. Its just that the AI stinks

Oooh.... You can run a cheater car really fast! Congrats! Winning this seasonal with GSX-R is ANYTHING but impressive. Some people just have to be snotty instead of having a sense of humor and having a little fun with other people's posts. Sad... :(

I'm gonna put it to you that a GSXR drives very differently to a Ghia XNR.

Generally the XNR doesnt do anything good but relieve you of a million dollars.

For anyone having trouble, this is a really stable car for this race.

TCS 2, ABS 3, no other aids ran 14.26 and it will go much faster. Best Lap was low 2:46

That was the point of my posting the spoiler about the Ghia winning. IMO, this seasonal is way too easy, because me winning with the Ghia on my first try with a quick tune is a joke.

Hmm, think I still 'hate' them. Never driven on them a great deal really but this is an opportunity to get some good miles in on these tyres. But, as suggested in your post, care is needed.

TTs on comforts are a different matter though, not too fond of those.

Maybe I am the only one that can see the 1 minute 5 second difference in the second place cars in the race with the Ghia and the GSXr

I know this post isn't directed towards me, but I want to be clear that I used it because I remembered the car from a seasonal not too long ago, and figured I could still probably remember my lines/braking points. I also wanted to complete all of this week's seasonal challenges with 1 car. To me, a cheater car is more like the ZZII, or 2J. I don't especially like the GSX-R4, it's too lively without SRF.

I don't like CS tires because they have no place on a racetrack. Same with all these trash cars that PD gives us, but then denies us obvious race-ready cars. Go home PD, you're drunk.

Well, this is an excellent tune. I put it onto a C12 S by mistake, but it works on that one too. Fast lap 2:42 something, and yes, it IS stable!

Here's another Winner!!! Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 '85

It beat a Vette & LFA, They both tried to take me out on the last corner before the finish line of the last lap. I was like you SOB's :grumpy: but they took each other out instead on me  :D 👍

I laughed all the way to the finish line. Suckers!!!

They can do it to you but you can't bump them or you get a penalty. How is that fair!!!
