Had another go at the GSX, and both times include a single 3-second penalty that's complete ********. Fastest lap 2:34.004.
I will never understand why sometimes I can accidentally go way out of bounds and not get a penalty, but other times I can barely hit the edge of where I'm supposed to be and get one (along with not understanding how I get a penalty when the AI rams me). I know it has something to do with the direction the front of the car, or where the front wheels are heading, because this shows your intent, but still, it's crap. One of these days someone is going to invent a hack where you can actually see the REAL boundaries while you're racing and change the face of every Gran Turismo challenge with these stupid penalties.
Anyway, done with this car, and this challenge!

Great Tommykaira ZZII '00 tune, @Jeje6410. Won it on the first run.
Off-topic a little, but ... I've noticed that the Tommykaira ZZII '00 is one of several cars for which the Gallery is unavailable (in the Garage).
Anybody know why certain cars don't have it?
The only thing I can think of is maybe it's got something to do with the number of times the car has been ported through the GT versions.

I think I would have been right there with you had it not been for the penalties, and if I had 500 PP. Not sure why, but checking my settings just now the car had 489 PP! I'm sure it had 500 the other day when I ran the race, seems weird that it would have lost so much just because of mileage.
That is strange to lose 11PP in a short time, or perhaps you have done a lot of races since you last look when it was 500PP, what is the mileage on the car ?.

Maybe I was mistaken and it wasn't 500 PP from the beginning, but I was almost sure. This is my original GSX, so it probably has a lot of miles on it haha. I think I'll buy a new one and start fresh. Mind sharing your tune?
I never change the oil unless I'm forced to do it to get the PP I need. I think the car is sitting at 99% at the moment, so I may be able to get there without that. I'd rather start fresh though, as I know I can get there with my tune and no oil change.
I will give you my tune tomorrow but without the Transmission is that ok, I just don't want anyone to have them sorry.

I used the lotus 111R for all 3 races. tried the second 500pp challenge at 450 pp. 1st time wins using DS3 w ABS only. I think the fella that puts the challenge into these challenges took the week off.

The midfield intermediate level can be won on 400PP and CS tire.

The old 2000GT did it with two penalty for been hit by AI!
This one is not the fastest but soo easy to handle, probably one of my favorites!
Engine at 50% and add weight, tranny, gearbox and suspension stock. Did the race without the 7th gear. This car can definitely go faster!

Is it just me or has anybody else notice when you pass the car in 1st place that he'll stick to you like glue, you get a second or more ahead and he'll pull right up behind you again

Sometimes both 2nd and 3rd will do it when you pass them, they just pull away from the rest of the pack and won't leave you alone, What The Hell is That?!? You get no breathing room, they'll even ram you or just miss you and go flying off the track. It's

A good strategy would be to stay behind the car in 1st place until he screws up or pass him near the end of the race, it's just a thought.

Yes indeed it frustrates me also,when chasing them you can easy catch them,when you've passed them they adapt to your pace.Hard to pull out a comfortable lead.
Just watched @skeagracing vid.If his fastest lap was a 2'49... as he stated it makes totally no sense at all.
I've raced it two times,both with @shaunm80 tunes.I 've passed the LFA at the third lap.Then it stays with me the whole time till the finish just over a second behind me.My fast laps were 2'41"0.. and 2'42"2...
Doesn't seem logic to me.

Yep, the AI on this one seem like a bunch of kamikaze quick match pilots. On my first few tries with the 300c, the p5 Ferrari f40 tried his best to take me out every time I got near him. With the Zonda, it was a Benz. Last night I was using the Cadillac Cien and the 2 LFAs were chasing me down relentlessly. We would be 20 seconds up on the rest of the pack by the end even though I caught them near the end of the 3rd Lap.

The R390 picture I posted with 599 and F430 Scud on both sides, the 599 tried to cut the corner right after the braking
