Last blast on this one, trying to get a clean run with no penalty. This is with FordLaser's tune, loose, but fast!

Tried the R33 Nismo LM today as I recently got a 1:18 model of the car. I am surprised that its slower than my own tuned Infiniti FX45. The fastest lap I got with the R33 LM was 2:47, but mostly 2:50s. It shows you how important AWD and V8 power are on this track.

Hi pilots
If you want you can try my tune for this race :
KTM X-Bow Street '12 (CS)
and this Tommykaira ZZII '00 (CS) tested by @fordlaser777
I can try to make other tunes for this event

Good drive and enjoy

I also tried this tune tonight. Nice!! I had the lead by 2 seconds after 2 laps and, though they got close in the long straight at the top of the hill, they were never able to catch me. Leaving the CS tires on I took it over to the Intermediate race and won that one too (I also had the lead after 2 laps). It makes me wonder what it could do with SH tires.

Here is a car (477 PP) that can't go over 130 mph without the aid of the draft, yet can still win..... Just make sure you don't get run over once you take the lead! Not a great time.... But I found it easier to win with the Tesla by going just slow enough so that you take the lead near the end of lap 5.... Less chance of getting run over by the AI!

Thanks @lasrjock !!!! It's a real pleasure to read your comments and your appreciation for this KTM !!!! And I thanks you.. Thanks again lasrjock !!!!!

Hi Brewy. I've had this classic beauty the Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T. 1 '52 in my garage for a while but never got the opportunity to use it so when I saw your tune for it for the events I jumped at the opportunity and just now tried it. Now for the report.

It drives beautifully. For the Beginner 400PP tune and race I was able to get a nice gold.
But for the Intermediate 500PP tune and race I was only able to muster a 3rd. Tried it afterwards, this time applying weight reductions since the tune was less than 500PP and could have accommodated increasing the PP by reducing the weight/s. This provided a better finish but still was only able to muster a 3rd.

Great car anyhow and I was happy to finally now got a chance to use it. Cheers bud.

The penalty system is unfair and why have it at all in the race, if the AI like in the video below shows a GT-R hitting me and do not get a penalty and shoots away from me, if I have done this I would have got a penalty and this is why the penalty system should not be in the race.

In that situation, or a real race scenario like it, I'd leave the inside for the faster closing car and try to regain the spot after he slides wide from missing me.

Of course, that requires seeing him coming in the mirror in time to change your normal entry.

:D

C.Hall and you can still call me Hall 👍.

I think everyone knows you still as Hall haha. All I know is that when I think I've really done well (for me), you and Cory seem to beat me by a few seconds anyway. I can also tell when I haven't put in the time because the gap is several seconds, so I use you guys as benchmarks for my personal goals.

The GSX is a very fast car but I have been trying other cars and see what they can do 👍.

I tried several of my favorite cars (Elise, McLaren, GTR, R8, etc.), but after driving the GSX, I just couldn't go down in performance. It would be nice if there were a faster car for this track, but there just isn't. I think this car with your tune is the fastest on the Midfield challenge as well, it's so much easier for me to handle with the sports hard tires.

I am getting tired of of this race now, I am going to give the Intermediate event ago now an as you said the GSX handles better on SH tyres, I will be over on that thread to post my times for the GSX that I have never tried for this race yet and other cars as well, I hope to see you over there :).

500PP BRZ lapping in 2:44's easily.
Second and a half in front at the last sector,
Wiped off the road by the Fezza at the last chicane for the lose.
No penalty for him.

Next race, caught up to him at the end of lap 2 and just sat behind doing 2:55's
Right until the last chicane, where I pulled to the inside, matched his braking and eased through for the win
Cr@p way to win a race.

Don't worry, Kvyat said it's OK.

He hardly even attempted to stop.
I've driven that Ferrari many times on Spa, even on SH or SM Tyres, your braking point is somewhere between the Overhead gantry and the 150m board
Old mate above has careened on through to the white line before touching the brakes.

Don't know if anybody mentioned it before but the very Lambourgini Miura P44 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 '67 is an excellent car for this Expert Level and also Intermediate Level 500PP.
I used a 500PP tune by Shaun (Exeter) and it killed the competition. Very fast and reliable car that.

Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps 5 lap Expert Level Non-Race Car Challenge. Clean race. No penalties. Tune by me. No aids. P1 Lexus LFA. P2 Ferrari 599. P3 Spyker C8. Fast lap 2:48.014. Winning margin 1.238 over Lexus LFA. Pass for the win at corner Campus on lap 5. The most fun was when I passed the Ferrari for P2 on lap 4 and he passed me back on the straightaway as he was faster than me but I did not block him but waited patiently for my time to pass the Ferrari back for P2. On lap 5 I passed the LFA and he also momentarily passed me back but I took P1 at Campus corner. Great fun for sure at Spa with this race.
