Had a go in the RX7 and straight away the thing was all over the track and mainly in the fence. After the fourth start when I hit 3rd just over the start line and it snapped me right into the fence, I thought these guys are having a lend of us. So I went and put the full rigid on, it already had the initial one on it, then full d/f front and rear.

Wow different car. I did one race and although I can't recall the exact numbers ended up with a time of 9.31 fastest lap 1.44.2 got held up often and hit often. But that A. David beat me by 3 seconds so today i'll have another go at him. :D

My first real attempt against A.David set a decent time but he was too quick for me. I can do better just needed that single alien lap of 1.42 or 1.43 and would have taken himWill try again and beat him

I gather after doing the track for a couple of weeks and winning most of the time the novelty wears of

Found a sleeper that can beat A. David in the TS030.... The Toyota Wedssport Celica '03. I had no idea that the Celica was that fast! As usual I used my own quick tune... So I'm sure the car can go faster with a good tune and a clean run. I almost screwed up the victory... I thought I was going to lose and was on the TS030's tail and was praying for a miracle draft and A. David inexplicably slowed up and I had to go through the grass to avoid and pass him!

Ford GT40 Race Car 1969. Tune by me. No aids. Fast lap 1:43.781. Pass for the win over the Toyota TS030 Hybrid on lap 5 after the last tunnel. Winning margin 00.901. First win for an American Race Car over the Toyota TS030 Hybrid in this Seasonal at Grand Valley Speedway.

Reply very nice that car normally finishes about 4th when we race with in this event. You did really well to win with it

Hi, i am winning this race with several cars so far, e.g. easily with 2J, Pesky, R18, but i never encountered A.David in his TS030. :( Competition seems a bit easier, why could that be?

Could it be playing in a certain country (Germany), having only an A-license, luck or whatever!?

@AlexAlien If you go in and out of the Expert Seasonal eventually you will get David/TS030.

Thanks skeagracing will try that!

BTW, would you share your tune for the GT40, as you did a great job with this car, and i am only sliding around :(

Edit: After a couple of tries i got the TS030 as opponent for my 2J (to ensure i stood a chance). Won the race with a 9:09,989 with 0.618s advantage, catched A.David in the last tunnel on lap 4.

Two attempts last night in the Subaru Impreza Super Touring Car. No luck, best lap of 1:48:4XX, just wasn't enough to chase down the GT-R Concept LM. Closest I got was 1.8s behind at the finish line. Anyone tried this car and won with it?
The rabbits are a curious breed; do a first lap fairly slow - like 1:56 or slower - and the rabbit will be much slower for the rest of the race. Gives you a better chance, since the rabbit wont speed up again until you pass him.

Really? I ran a 1:50 first lap in one, and 1:56 in the other after a little off-track action, and the rabbit's end time almost exactly the same. 9:47.

Alex are you a real Alien or Schumacher as that is some Alien time lol. by the way what is your tune with the 2J the best i could do was 9.28.++ in a 2J. Thanks

Finally someone asks about my moniker, it became quite embarrassing already :scared:

I use this 'nickname' for more than 25 years now, long before i came to Computer Racing - 3 month ago - and therefore long before i knew that it was used for unearthly good drivers.

So, i am just a beginner with the will and hope to get better

Used this tune:

Suspension 65/55, 7.74/18.53, 1/1, 1/1, 1/2, 0/0, -1.00/0.10
Racing Breaks 8/9
Transmission 320 km/h
LSD 8/10/12
Power 70.6%
Ballast 70kg at +30
no Oil Change or Body Rigidity

which is based on a tune that gave me 1004th place in the Willow Springs TT a couple of weeks ago (my very first TT). The original tune was not done by me, so credits to the creator

Have fun racing and thanks for the nice words

I think a off excursion may make a difference. It's not the laptime per se that matters, but your avarage skillset I suppose. I've seen the Nissan LM be as slow as 9:31. I had a hugely inferior car in the Lister Storm though, and never won with it.

Edit: that's 9:51 for less clumsy fingers.

Took a stock 2J, power limited to 600pp and beat on it. David just wouldn't let go like everyone else did. Little gap between P2 and P3…

Tried your 'challenge' with stock 2J (power limiter to 61.1%), with ABS1 only and managed 5 more or less clean laps, without crashing or hitting other cars, managing a 9:11 (see attachement).

This was not my 1st try though, as on first the TS030 kicked me into the sand in the first corner of lap 5, kindly waiting for me then and letting me win with a 9:20.

No way to beat you soon , but still quite happy :D

Had a go with the Citroen GT car, the tune is a compilation of my tune and @DisabledRacer's. Actually, not a bad car.:D

We gotta get you some new tunes! I can't even drive my old tunes anymore! :embarrassed: I have to change my tunes every few months because of the constant changes/improvements in my hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder etc. :grumpy:

As for the GT By Citroen Race Car.... I just bought a new one and threw a quick tune on it, as I didn't want to mess with my old one with my goofy tune on it. With a good tune on it, some great driving and a clean run, it possibly can beat the TS030.
